Was very interested in this thread. Right away I wondered if it could be LP since you didn't mention any x-rays. My rescue Pommie is 1 yr. old and needs both knees done. I was wondering what would be said about doing both at the same time. I didn't have a hard time keeping my senior girl quiet after her LP surgery, but this 1 yr. old will be an entirely different story. I'm going to wait until school starts and he has to spend part of the day in his kennel anyway, otherwise he'd be having a fit, driving us nuts with his barking. |
surgery i,am so glad you had your babys surgery my baby can,t have surgery and is in pain and i can,t put her down. |

Charlie will do just fine. I have two babies each 10, and we have them going to our Vet, a Homeopathic Vet who specializes in herbs/vitamins/chiropractic and accpunture. He does a procedure called "gold beading" whereas, he uses accupunture to insert gold bead gel into the cartilidge (hip etc). not a cure but better than surgery. Toby will be undergoing that procedure soon. I wish you the best with Charlie and so happy you got a second opinion. I think one leg at a time is the best way to go. Your right, don't keep them under anetishia very long - to tiny. God Bless |
