Zoey Grace Zoey did not get to come home today. Her sugar levels were down and she had a slight temp. But they said she has been eating, drinking and pottying ok. When I called them awhile ago, they said she had ate quite alot for her size and they gave her pain meds. She had been asleep for about 45 minutes. She is really doing good. I am to call tomorrow and the doctor will let me know if she is well enough to come home. I want her home but not too soon for her. They will check her sugar levels again later this evening and again in the morning. I will let all of you know as soon as I know anything more. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and concerns. This is very common that they do not come home the next day after surgery..It is usually a couple days to 5 days till they get to come home.. Babybear was in the hospital for 2 to 3 days.. then when home he talked all the first night..LOL I called the ER and they told me he had a lot to tell me about what they did to him..LOL it will be a bit to get used to but will be well worth it.. homecoming for zoey Zoey Grace came home today. She is doing very well. She has a purple wrap from her head to the middle of her body. Then she has a brace on her back and under her neck. She drank some water when she got home. Now she is in her crate resting. They gave her pain meds before she came home. I will keep you updated. She goes back in 2 weeks, unless something comes up. |
Thanks for the update on Zoey Grace, I am glad she is home with you and doing well. Would love to see a photo of her in her purple cast!! Hope she gets stronger day by day... |
