Help!! No poop in two days!!! Hi all, so we just got Izzy from Sherry (yorkiegirl2) on friday and she has been eating wet food due to the transition she wouldn't eat the dry kibbles. So she's been on the wet food. She pooped on sat and sunday fine, yesterday (monday) she started eating more of the wet ( 1 whole package) and today they put the dry down and she ate half of her bowl plus her whole pack of wet food. She is on pedigree packets of wet and purina healthy morsels for dry... Sherry suggested those for now since that's what she is used to... We cleaned her bum and it looked "flowable", and gave her some canned pumpkin about an hour ago... Rob (my bf) has had her this whole time and I'm 5 hours away. He's really worried about her, any suggestions on what to do? I told him to try to get her to eat more of hte pumpkin...she was kind of refusing it!!! Please help!!! |
Hi Kayla! ;) Bumping this up for you. Please give little miss Izzy an extra hug from us. Sorry I am no help. Hopefully help will be here very soon! :animal-pa |
Give the pumpkin some time to work. It will take more than an hour or two. You may be getting up in the middle of the night. ;) If she hasn't gone tomorrow I would give her some more pumpkin. That almost never fails.:) Remember that going to a new home is stressful on any dog and can affect things. I had a larger dog that didn't poop for 4 days. Pumpkin did the trick for him. If that fails, I would probably call the vet just to be sure of things. |
thanks... i'll let him know that. he's going to let her sleep, she's tired now. If she doesn't go by noon he'll call the vet, he has to work all day, but his dad will be home with her to keep an eye on her. Thanks, i'll keep this updated as i find out more!!! :) |
ok.. i just informed him of that. how much should she be consuming tomorrow? she's 3.75 lbs.. |
hope Izzy recovers promptly, When I give my furbabies pumpkin, I warm it up a bit, they love it... And its amazing how it really works... |
Hi, When i first got Milo I thought he did not go for 2 days, only to find he snuck off and left little presents is there any way this could be happening? Check behind and under furniture, good luck |
ok i'll tell him to warm some up this morning if still nothing... i don't think there's too much of a chance there's presents.. she's either watched over or in the kitchen locked in it.. they don't want her to get around too much, they have 2 bigger dogs and 3 cats. she's safe in the kitchen.. they have baby gates up on both sides. |
