Ultrasound... My Yorkie is having blood in her urine, despite two rounds of antibiotics. My vet doesn't feel any stones in her bladder, and she says we can do xrays or she can refer me on for an ultrasound. Can someone tell me how much I can expect to pay in Indiana for ultrasound? I'm on a limited income, and I'm afraid it's going to be costly. Thanks for the information. |
I paid 185.00 for one in January for my Puppy, Dixie (RIP)who had congenital kidney failure and it was done at a specialty clinic. Hope your baby feels better soon. |
Around $200.00. I typically recommend an ultrasound when there are stones involved because there are some stones that don't show up on x-rays, particularly ammonium biurate stones which are seen when there is an issue with the liver. |
