I just dropped Phantom off at the vets for his neuter surgery. I am so nervous! Oh, I'm counting the hours until I can call and check on him! |
omgosh....i know how scary that is. I had to have Duncans baby teef pulled coz he was havin probs with them and I was terrified, but I had faith in my vet and he was fine. I know I drove everyone mental coz I called 300 times! but they are used to it so call call call all you need to to ease your mind and heart. And were sending prayers for an easy time for you and him! |

I forgot to ask in the previous post, but what should I expect after the surgery? I know he will be groggy, but will he have to be separated from the other dogs? Will he be in pain? |
He is in my thoughts . |

I'm sure Phantom will be fine. Ozzy was done a week ago. He was very groggy and quiet when I brought him home. It was upsetting to see him like that but once I gave him a little water with honey he perked up. My vet sent me home with some liquid painkillers and I gave him a dose about 2 hours after I brought him home. He had started whimpering a bit. But by 7pm he was eating a few kibble, still a little wobbly but much more himself. By the next day..BAM!!! back to his crazy self :D |
I hope everything goes well :) |
Thanks guys! I guess I just needed to hear it - again! I just talked to the vet, and my Phantom did fine. He is out of surgery and into recovery! He is awake, but still very out of it. I should be able to take him home in a few hours! |
I am very glad to hear Phantom is doing fine . |
I am happy to report that Phantom is doing great! Here are some pictures of him after his surgery. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...s-surgery.html |
