Sick three month old Yorkie Hi everyone, I'm Nicole, and I own a three month old yorkie named Jacque. He started vomiting on Sunday night and it continued scarcely throughout Monday morning and afternoon. I haven't seen him drink much, but my Mom says he has. All I've seen him do near the water bowl is stick his left paw into it. He started throwing up white foam recently. I thought I have seen blood in his liquidy wastes (friends have been suggesting Parvo), but my brother said it was a figment of my imagination. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I go see a Vet? Thank you. |
YES! Take him to a vet asap. He is way to litttle to go that long throwing up. |
I would rush him to the vet if he hasent been drinking/vomiting since Sunday night. |
I'd get to the vet...they can go down hill so fast at this age. No time to waste!! |
Get to the vet ASAP!!!!!!! Hope to hear good news! |
Vet ASAP |
Get your baby to the vet asap! They are so little, and without food or water for 3 days will go downhill very quickly! Update us after the vet visit please! |
How is your baby doing now? If he is not eating or drinking you should take him to the vet. In the meantime you might try alittle bit of Kayro Syrup in his water to help with his bloodsugar. Be sure that he is actually drinking. You might need to use your finger to help put some in his mouth. Nutical or boiled chicken might also help. Please watch his stools and if they are still bloody he really needs to see the vet. Yes, bloody stool can be parvo. Please keep us updated. Good luck. |
Update: I wasn't able to get him into the Vet and he died earlier this morning. :( |
Sorry about your baby |
I am very sorry to hear that he passed away.:( Are you going to find out what was wrong with him? If so I would then call the breeder you bought him from to let her know. |
