Zima Update 1 Attachment(s) We went to the vet and all her vitals are fine...heart, lungs, ears, gums, temp etc. He said the pill is no longer in her system. He's just not sure if there is an underlying problem, so we did the super duper chem. profile along with parasite and giarda testing and urine analysis. We won't know anything until tomorrow. So, while she looks good on the outside, we just have to wait for the testing to come back. That will tell us more. He's really thinking this is all stress related. I don't have to tell you guys how hyper they can get.:winky: Right now, she's bugging her Daddy for food...as usual...so that's a good sign. We have to fatten her up because she did lose weight since the trip. She was 8.5 lbs a few days before, and today she is 7.11...the vet wasn't happy with that. Thank you sooooooooo much for all your concern everyone!!!:aimeeyork |
Great news, hope all the tests come back ok. |
At least you can relax a little bit while waiting for the final results. Hopefully by the time they're back, she will be her ol' self and the tests will just confirm it!! |
That is great news :) I hope the test results all come back good! |
glad to hear things are better. Be sure to update us again when you get the results back |
Prayers for little Zima. Roxy has always gone into pant-mode as soon as she gets into the car. It was scarey at first, but it has gotten better. She's fine as soon as she gets out. I can't use any chemical flea stuff on her. If I do, she will pace, hide, not eat, rub the floor, shy away from everyone, act like something is after her, and won't let anyone near her. This lasts for 3 days. But, I'm not sure about the peeing. I pray you baby didn't lick anything like gas or antifreeze that got on feet that may have reacted to the pill. I'll keep her in my prayers for a quick recovery. Hugs. |
