Bleu took his morning dose of meds at about 9 am and we are off to church. NO EPISODES! It seems as if the meds are working. I am unsure if we are out of the woods yet or not because what happens if we run out of meds and he is not well? We will cross that bridge when we get there but for now as my friend quoted me this morning LIFE IS GOOD! Enjoy your day! It is beautiful in the state of Texas and our family needs a good day togethher with no worries so we are going to have that day today. Im looking forward to laughing and loving on my boys my hubby and my furbabies. Our life is complete. Thank you for being a part of our life and praying and thinking of us. I hope to always be able to do the same in return! LOVE HUGS LICKS AND WAGS THE BARBERS |

I second that!! Helping out with a donation was something I offered last week and it was never mentioned by Vicki. I just can imagine the burden of bills on top of the woory for Bleu so I inquired about helping out. Vicki has PMed me and was very thankful, but in no way did she ask for it. Idea.... I don't know if it is possible, or admin or someone else could take on opening a bank account and tracking donations, but I would love to see a YT trust fund that we can tap into to help our fellow members out with medical bills for unanticipated expenses. I know of at least 3 members right now who are having a tough time with unexpected Yorkie illnesses and those bills have to be mounting. |

Waiting on a call from A&M Lord grant me patience! I did not get to check on him last night I called 3 times and they had several emergency cases and could not give me a update but told me if anything was wrong I would be the first to know so I take it he is stable and awaiting testing today ! I MISS HIM WE HAVE OUR MORNING ROUTINE AND IT SURE IS DIFFFERENT! |

Vicki, I'm sending all the prayers and good karma I can muster your way. It is humbling to think how blessed I have been when it comes to Bug. Considering the conditions she came from, and her incredibly small size, her health has been excellent (no LP, no shunts, etc.). Poor little Bleu is a vivid reminder that there, but for the grace of God, go I. When I signed up on this forum, I did so with the promise that I would not get too involved. I've had bad experiences with online forums in the past (people faking cancer, cyber bullies, etc), and I didn't want to "go there" again. But YT, it turns out, is like no other online forum in the cyber world. If all of you could be gathered up and placed in one town...just imagine the neighborhood we could have! I'm with everyone else when I say that I would appreciate the opportunity to help defray some of that A&M bill. Most people would have given up on Bleu thousands of dollars ago. The fact that you haven't speaks volumes! |
A&M called at 9:30. Bleu boy is doing well at this moment. I am not sure where to start as I was upset the whole call but think I maintained my composure. The medstudent stated they were taking him in for chest Xrays! They have already done chest Xrays. I basically in a nutshell said tomorrow will be one week we have dealt with this and NOTHING TO DATE HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED! I was told they were going to do a scope and that has yet to be done! He acted as if it may not even be done today . I told him I was past the point of happiness as my dog is suffering. I told him not to beat around the bush with me SHOOT STRAIGHT and he said they may do scope today may do it tomorrow but that DR HEITLICK THE AAS SURGEON WOULD BE CALLING ME EARLY AFTERNOON!.. I apologized and said I know you had no idea what you were walking into when you called me but IM ANXIOUS WORRIED TIRED AND WANT MY BABY RELIEF .. He was very understanding and said he would pass on how adament I am being. PLEASE PRAY YALL PLEASE! |
Vicki I am so sorry and Praying very hard for Bleu and Praying for you to keep up your strength and to stay strong if you need anything please just let me know. |

I'm so sorry you are being put under so much stress, Vicki. I would have pulled out all my hair and the hair of everyone at the vet's if it were me. They must know how much you both are suffering. Bleu need to be home with his mommy and his mommy needs Bleu to be home with her. I pray they get their butts in gear and do something to make this happen - and do it SOON!! I'm keeping you and Bleu in my thoughts and prayers. Be strong. Hugs to all. |
