Oh No!!! Please Reply Asap!!!!!!!! Chewy who is only 5.5lbs has EXTREME food allergies. if he has one peice of popcorn he throws up, he eats any dog treats he throws up,anything out of his diet he gets very sick! My boyfriend had a fun sized 3 musketeer and he dropped it and before we got to it (and we pounced in that direction) chewy got it and swallowed it whole while we tried to get it back... WHAT TO DOOOO!??! |
Take that baby to er vet!!!! I hope its nothing serious...but I wouldn't chance it! If you can't take him then call the er vet! I'll keep you both in my prayers! Hope everything goes ok for him! Keep us posted on how he is doing. |
Hope he is better...sorry to hear he has so many allergies...his name isn't Chewy for nothing...lol!!:animal-pa |
You can make him vomit by making him swallow hydrogen peroxide. I don't know the dosage. Call your vet! Time to teach "leave it" :D |
Agree. Take to vet/call vet. Maybe vet will recommend that you induce vomiting with peroxide. I've had to do that 4 x's already with my 10 mo. Pommie. It works. Good luck. Please report back. |
If he is that sensitive, maybe he'll just throw it up. Otherwise, you can give him a tablespoon of peroxide. Usually it is the dark chocolate that gives them problems, but you may want to induce vomiting just so you feel better. |
Here's a good article explaining how much chocolate is a toxic dose and the warning signs of chocolate toxicity. http://vetmedicine.about.com/cs/nutr...latetoxici.htm |
Hope your little guy is ok. Might be a good idea to keep some anti-histamine in - check with your vet the dosage for his weight. Sending hugs :wavey: |
the vet said that he will prob get a little sick but he will end up being okay because a 3 musketeer is only coated in chocolate! thanks everyone! |
Glad to hear it...feel better, Chewy! |
Glad to hear that he will be ok! :) |
