Odie is throwing up Odie is throwing up! I have given him water with a bit of honey in it and he can't seem to keep it down Any ideas? he is 14 weeks old I am really concerned about him, he isn't eating anything  |
Please call the vet. A pup throwing up that much is an emergency. They get dehydrated so easily. They can also go hypoglycemic. And at this age, his shots probably aren't done. |
Ditto. |

I called the vet and they just said to wait for an hour and then give him a tsp of water and see if he keeps it down.. if not to bring him in to the office around 5:30pm... |
throwing up My yorkie had two sessions of throwing up when she was around the same age. I called the Vet and they told me to take her in now. They told me to give her sugar water(3 parts water to 1 part sugar) and then I could also get this stuff call nutripal for puppies. Its a squeeze tube with nutrients in it for puppies that won't eat. |
the stuff I used when Roxi was a baby was call nutristat... Same concept as the post before me... It will suppliment all the nutrients he needs and wont get low blood sugar.... its great stuff and they like it... But I would get him into the vet straight away |
I hope he has stopped throwing up and if not it's good you can get him into the vet. |

I know that he is hungry because I had a dry social tea cookie and he wanted some.. I gave him the tinyest piece and he ate it.. like I said he is keeping things down now.. so hopefully we are over the hump of this thing and he will be ok.. but if I see that he isn't he will be going to the vet as soon as Daddy gets home. |
That's good!!! |
hope hes ok by now??:) |
Oh poor Odie! :( How is he feeling now? Get well soon! |
Praying for your baby..hope he is ok:aimeeyork |
Alot of times when they\'re sick with their tummies hurting, a vet will suggest a short fast then going to bland foods such as science diet id, rice, boiled chicken. Then integrate their other as everything settles down. |
