Armani :( has not been eating very well lately. He wont eat dog foods, boiled chicken or really anything. I even went and bought the raw medallions, he wont come near those. I dunno what to do, all he will eat is treats and I give them to him because I would rather him eat treats at least than nothing at all. I dunno what to I am in the middle of midterms and my boyfriend just got a new job, my dad has been closing his store (his employee took a leave of absence so my dad has been working daily at the liquor store), in order to come and check on Armani every 2 hours. He is playful, full of energy, has normal stool. I dunno if I just spoiled him and he decided not to eat because he knows he will get treats? AHh.. I dunno lol. |
How long do you let him go without food to try and get him to eat what you want him to? Or do you automatically give treats when he doesn't eat a meal? I'm surprised he doesn't like the boiled chicken. |
he used to love boiled chicken, i think he got sick of it. I would let him skip a meal, but in the morning if he wont eat, and I am leaving I give him a treat because I cant leave without knowing something is in his tummy :( |
I know it is okay for a dog to go a couple days without eating but that wouldn't be going on here either.;) I've never had that problem with Ellie. She eats whatever. I don't really know what to say except if it were me, I'd do what he wants as long as their is some nutritional value to it. I'd homecook (with supplements) and keep switching it up. I have a lot of sympathy for the dogs who get bored with the same food and nobody can prove that they don't get tired of it... |
i have a huge bag of raw medallions, if anyone is in the denver area ill give it to ya ;) lol cause its taking up room in my fridge. My dad just keeps saying he has never met a dog who didn eat, who had to be forced to eat lol. Armani is one of a kind :) HAHAHAHA |
