Vomitting Frequently Every since I got lucky 3 days ago, it's been vomitting everyday. So far it's been 2-3 times everyday. Other than the vomitting, it seems to be fine. No diarhea, pink gums, energetic, etc. It'll throw up once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Sometimes in the middle of the night I hear him vomitting. Is this normal? His vomit is usually white to clear, with not much content in it.. and it's a small amount. Should I go see a veterinarian or is it not worth the money for this issue? Also, anyone know of any good vets near North Hollywood, CA.? :( |
take him in immediatley! he can get dehdrated from vommiting too much plus you need to find out what's causing this. |
I tend to agree. Vomitting is not normal and is usually a symptom of something wrong. Have you discussed this with the breeder? I don't know of a good vet in that area but if you call or email Tanya of Tanya's Tiny Tots, (she is a member here) she may be able to refer you. If he hasn't been to the vet since you got him he needs to go anyway for your health guarantees to remain in effect and just for his preventative exam and checkup. Good luck and keep us posted. |
harley did that too - but it was only the first few hours and the first night - i called the breeder and she was concerned. It turned out to be just nerves from traveling and being separated from his pack. He was fine after that but i would have it checked out since it was more that 24 hours. Congrats on your new baby lucky! harley's mom |
Please!!!!!!!!!!! See a vet immediately!!! I lost my Precious on the 4th and nearly lost my Sassi. Read my post here entitled PLEASE READ! |
Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your Precious. I haven't been feeding the dog any human food. It's been eating its dry food and some of the Caesar's wet foods from Wal-Mart. I'll take him to the vet first thing this morning just in case something is wrong. I need to get the health check and take preventative measures as SocalyorkiLvr suggested anyway. |
