Sounds like my Yorkie has trouble breathing! My little yorkie has always had allergies, since she is always having trouble with ear problems and stratching! I noticed she was becoming more nasal sounding lately, but last night it was really bad and we rushed her to my vet! Her tongue was pink, so she did not need oxygen, but we got three shots and the hope of her recovering without having to do testing to see if there is a growth! That is what worries me! I want to know the real cause! What is the thought of commerical pig ears for dogs? I wonder if they can be toxic over time, since she does eat those! I have her on a good brand of food, but lately she has gained weight! Wonder if that can really hinder her breathing? Please help with suggestions! thanks |
I am not sure about toxic, but anything goes bad over time. I remember reading a thread here not to long ago about a bully stick going bad, Good luck, hope she feels better soon. |
I use to give my Pom the pig ears but they caused her tummy problems to act up. She sure loved them though. |
Bless your heart.. I feel for your sweet baby there is nothing like not being able to breathe right HOW SCARY:( Keep us posted I wish I could offer more advice but I have not been had any experience! Hopefully Yt pawparents will see this and respond promptly this morning... By the way I am in Corsicana:D Hugs for a great day Vicki |
Prayers for your girl, please keep us updated. |
Hope to get some help Thanks for the encouraging words, and I do hope I can get some suggestions soon, since I feel this condition might return and it is really frightening for us! I am trying to decide whether to switch foods, since I am using Nutro small bites! Read some bad news on that brand too, so I am at a lost! Help please! |
