Too soon for bully sticks? Franklin has been driving me NUTS! And to think I missed him so much... :p Just kidding. But really... he's teething so he's been chewing on EVERYTHING. I haven't had a change to replenish his toy supply yet. I plan on doing that sometime today or tomorrow. But... even his old toys never satisfied his teething needs like a good ol' bully stick. I have some ordered that should be come in today. Is it too soon to give them to him? I don't want to upset his stomach but I don't know what else to give him. He's been eating and drinking normally and having fairly normal BM... What do you think? |
As long as they are fresh I would see no harm. |
Parker has been on bully sticks since he was 4...5ish months, and with him teething right now I will give him ANYTHING that will help sooth him.:) Well anything healthy..lol. Another good idea is to wet a rag and freeze it then let him chew on it to help him too. |
I prefer cow ears....they are much easier to digest and last a long time. |
HE will be fine as long as you give it to him when you are there to supervise |
Bandit ate bully sticks since around 4 months and scooby had it when he came at 5 months, this puppy is also having it. He is teething and it is good to help shake those baby teeth out their mouth. Also good are raw meat bones with some meat on them like lamb or beef. I helps them pull the teeth out. I freeze the meat bones and give it to them frozen, it is soothing to the aching gums |
My pups teeth on bully sticks starting as soon as they are able to "gnaw". |
