Getting ready to take Diddy to the vet Diddy has been peeing everywhere the past 2 weeks. It doesn't seem like he is having any pain but he pees in small amounts all the time. From reading other posts it sounds like maybe a bladder infection or UTI. I hope everything is ok with my little boy! I hope it isn't anything serious. These little ones sure know how to make you worry! |
Ahhh....I hope he feels better soon. |
Poor Diddy! I hope he's better soon. |
He has a bladder infection. Poor baby! He had some blood and crystals in his urine. They gave me antibiodics and some meds to lower his PH level. Hopefully these pills will help because I don't want him to develop stones. |
Thanks for the report! I am glad he is on his way to getting better! |
Thanks everyone! This holiday has not been a healthy one! My fiance had to have his gallbladder removed right before Xmas, I am getting over a bad cold, and now my poor baby is sick. I hope 2008 is a healthier year! |
Yes, let's pray that 2008 is a healthier year for all of us...skin and fur alike. Poor Diddy! Gentle hugs from all of us. |
Amen..... Tina:D |
I'm hoping all three of you are better soon.:getwellso |
Diddy has been on his antibiodics for almost 5 days now and is peeing all the time! He just went 2 times while I was in the shower. Do you think he is getting worse? I am so worried about him. I have been reading many posts regarding crystals and stones. My vet acted like this was no big thing and they will do another urine analysis in one month. Is there anything I can do to help with the crystals? I currently feed him Canidae Kibble in the morning and Merricks wet food in the evening. Is it possible for a dog to have crystals and never form bladder stones or is this something I am going to have to keep an eye on forever? I may be overreacting but I am just really really worried! He is only 10 months old and I want him to get better. |
