Please Help! My boyfriend and I are watching his parents female yorkshire terrier this weekend while they are out of town. We live with his parents and have two dogs of our own. Yesterday their yorkie(Libby) seemed fine. We played outside and she was normal. I did notice though after I left to run errands and came back, she had knocked the bathroom trash over(which she does alot) and she looked to have dust or something on her face. Around 8 last night she started acting really weird. She layed on the couch, eyes rolled back in her head, and would not move. She won't make a sound and she only twitches a bit when we snap our fingers in front of her. I was really worried so i called his parents last night and told them all of her symptoms. They said to watch her during the night to see if there was any improvement then call them in the morning to see if we should take her to an emergency vet. Does anyone know what could be wrong? she is a 6 year old female yorkie. Please Help. |
It sounds to me like she might have been poisoned. I sure would not wait in getting her to a vet if she is not responsive. |
we are just trying to get a hold of his parents first before we take her. I'm so worried. Ive never seen her like this. |
Will say a prayer for her, please get her to vet asap, let us know. |
OMG Please don't wait...... Oh I am so worried for her. I hope all is ok. |
Go to the vets as soon as possible. I surely wouldn't wait at all!! |
At this point, don't wait to reach your parents. Take her to the ER vet right now. |
Yikes!! Please at least call the vet!!! I am sure they will tell you to bring the baby in. The longer you wait the more damage can happen if it is posioning. Please let us know how things turn out! |
We'll be praying for precious Libby |
i wouldn't have waited and would have taken her to a vet straight away! |
Any news? |
Yikes! Sounds like poor Libby needs ER VET care ASAP |
what's happened with this little girl?? |
