Drooling?? I woke up this morning and I noticed that Watson's mouth was kind of wet, not from drinking because it was wet back in the corners of his mouth. Didn't think much of it then. Just now he was taking a nap in my bed and I noticed that he was drooling so much there was a small puddle where he was laying (the size of a sand dollar). Could this be a sign of him being sick or anything. I know dogs drool, but I've never seen Watson drool or heard of yorkies drooling. Is this perfectly normal? All around his mouth is real wet! |
Maddie drooled like that when she had a throat infection. I know that dogs drool after or during a seizure also, but you'd notice if he was doing that. I am no expert, but I'd guess there is something going on and it probably wouldn't hurt to have him checked by a vet. Is he acting normal other than that? Good luck! |
Max was drooling alot and I was soooo worried. I mean even his chest was wet! It was him teething. How old is your baby? |
If Kalani goes too long without food overnight he will drool a whole bunch and then throw up bile:( I make sure he has a snack right before bedtime and on the weekends when I want to sleep-in I keep a container of cheerios on my nightstand so he can have a snack early in the morning and we can all sleep another hour:D |
He seems perfectly normal, but I can tell he's real tired. He keeps trying to sleep but every time I change rooms, he has to follow me..so his naps keep getting interrupted. Watson is almost 5 months. |

It might be teething but since he is tired I would think he just doesn't feel well. Ellie started that drooling thing a few months ago (mouth really wet). It lasted for a few hours or so. I am pretty sure she had a stomach ache since I believe she either tried or did throw up. It may have been the parmesan cheese I give her that didn't agree with her system. |
Thank you all! Yea, I don't think he feels well either. Like I said, he's real tired, and when he is up walking around he is moving slow, just seems out of it. |

Yea, he is eating ok. I switched the flavor of his food yesterday. Same kind (or brand), just different flavor. If he was eating it, I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with it. |
Is he lethargic? |
I'm not 100% sure what lethargic means. I think it's like when you're always drowsy?? Is this right? Well, no he is just the opposite..always has energy! He was playing around for a little bit today, but I've been in bed not feeling well (hungover actually), and he's been sleeping with me. But he still is drolling, so much it looks like he went pee in that area. I'm nervous about this... |
they also drool excessively from stress or being scared |
How is he doing? Is he still drooling? I hope he's okay! |
Is it only when he's sleeping? Jazzie drools when she sleeps, Jolie & Jen drools sometimes too when they are sleeping - Heck, I do too... Jazzie also drools when I'm getting her meals.. As long as it's not excessive, I don't think there is anything to worry about. |
