Savannah is in critical condition
 
We were greatly affected by the California fires since we lived in Malibu. We were evacuated a couple days ago and Savannah, my littlest girl, is dying from smoke inhalation. Savannah is only three months old and pretty much gone. She's in the vet and we are currently living in Oregon. I call the vet everyday, but I've only seen Savannah twice, I'm really emotional about everything now, thank god the kids and my other Yorkies Bella and Cody are ok. And my cat and love birds too.

I'm so sorry about Savannah and praying she gets well soon. This whole situation is so sad. Good luck and keep us posted. :(

Does the vet think they can help her??? I know nothing about smoke inhalation, just seems if she is at the vet that can do something???? My prayers are with her all the way....I am SOOOOOOOOO Sorry . :(

I am so sorry to hear about you little Savannah. I am glad you and the rest of you family and pets are safe. These fires have been so devastating. Our prayers are with you and your little Savannah.

She is on medication but they can't do much. I guess that's because she's tiny and young. I'm crying right now thinking about it.

You have birds and they're ok, but your dog isn't? That's weird. Birds are usually the most sensitive to anything airborne esp. smoke and all the toxins that must be in it right now:confused: . I'm sorry about your dog though; that's sad.

So true, my house caught on fire when I was in high school. Our bird died from the smoke but our Yorkies were just fine, thank god!

After reading some of your other posts, I am a little confused..How did you not know about the fires till Tuesday when like someone else mentioned, we all knew about them long ago and we are far away. Also you choice of what to take and the length of time you took to pack money, dog food and Tylenol? Where was little Savannah that she inhaled so much smoke and the birds are fine? Just curious..

YT is a very giving, loving group of people all brought together by a common thread the love of this breed. Time after time members have come to the aid of a member in need giving time, money, material things, donations to vet bills, etc.

BUT when one preys on our heart strings with your inconsistant stories, chosing not to respond to the most simple of questions one would wonder how truthful you are being!

Fact - fires in Malibu started on Sunday and evacuated on Sunday total control by Tuesday...

FICTION - You were told to evacuate on Tuesday YET you had until THURSDAY:confused: When you were leaving your home your neighbors house was burning ON THURSDAY:confused: Now your house is distroyed would that be THURSDAY TOO??:confused:

Now your sitting in Oregon, while your puppy is dying, posting on YT all your life tragedies, having time to peddle puppies on another thread (when their not even whelped yet) amidst all this tragedy!

Hmmmmmm one can only come to one conclusion, Greaseistheword is FICTION!!!

Evidently you require a need to be accepted....but, this isn't the way by manifesting stories in effort to get attention.
