Buddy absolutely adores all kids. In fact, if the kids go outside to play he stands at the door an cries & cries to go play with them. I take Buddy to the elementary school everyday to do carpool....when all the kids start coming out of the school...I think he is going to break the window out by jumping with excitement!!! He completely lights up when he sees children!!! But he really loves everybody!!! |
aurora loves everyone. She is a completely different puppy when she is around people. At home she is so calm, just sleeps by my feet, but as soon as Don comes home from work, she is running around. When she gets around others she runs in circles and acts all crazy. I actually wish she didn't love kids quite as much as she does. She wants to run and play with kids that are too rough, she doesn't understand that she can't play with them, so she gets mad and pouts. She just loves Don's daughter, but she gets way too excited for Isabelle. I am hoping as she gets older, she will mellow out. |
Bella doesnt like kids under 5...she growls and shows teeth...no idea why Diggy loves everyone! |
Bailey is good.. when it's on his terms..if he can go to them and check them out he's fine..BUT if they come at him.. he get's nervous then defensive and will try to snap he has never bit anyone but he gives a lot of warning that he's stressed and snaps at them but not close enough to get them. That is when I get him out of that situation and warn any kids..He's not in a friendly mood you need to leave him alone. |
Ben and Malachi love all kids but Indy doesen't like anybody until they go on the floor, what I mean is she doesen't like new people standing above her it scares her. As soon as they sit/kneel down and call her towards then she's very friendly. |
karlee loves kids..bentley HATES kids..and parker doesn't really like them..but doesn't mind them. |
Connor - after he warms up to them Mylan - immediately rolls over to have her belly rubbed Pixie - runs for her daddy's lap for protection Kera - kisses every face that comes within kissing distance Sammie - wants all their attention and more! We have 9 1/2 grandchildren, so they pretty much take a much needed nap after they all leave...LOL! None of my babies has ever been agressive. If there's a baby sleeping in a carrier, at least one of them will curl up in there with them. |
Pepper loves children, always has. If he sees kids (any age) any distance ahead of him, he starts pulling on the leash and jumping, wagging his tail like crazy. He tries to lick their faces too, I have to alwys restrain him from that LOL. I think he thinks they're like a bigger version of him maybe, he doesn't even get as happy seeing other dogs... |
With Cozy it depends on the children my friends kids and my cousins she loves but can do without other kids. Lucky loves all kinds. He is my lover while Cozy is the mouthy protector. |
mine loves kids... she is 3 months and a half and loves all kids and especially mine :) Even my 10 months plays with her! But I have to admit that I am always around my children to supervise because Bikini is still only 3 pounds and my 3 years old loves her too much sometimes ;) But so far so good.... Bikini is the first dog I had in my life.... she is wonderful, I am so glad we got her! I don't usually like dogs but Yorkies are definitely the best! |
Yep they do like children/babies....they like everyone :) ;) |
My all my furkids are exposed to as many people as possible. They tend to LOVE children who are well-behaved and who have parents who require them to mind. |
Yorkie like children We have 3 Yorkie's and they just love our Grandchildren. Our Maggie May is best friends with one grandchild inperticular Zack. When Zack comes for a visit Maggie May will not leave him alone its constant ball playing. In fact she gets so upset when he stops playing we have to put her down for a nap or she would have a heat attack.:animal-pa :aimeeyork |
Brody use to love people and other dogs. We're not sure why he started being afraid of kids and other adults. As for other dogs, he was "attacked" by two puppies from across the street. The kiddo took him for a walk alone. So I wasn't there to see what actually happened. Then some BIG golden retrievers at the vets office thought he looked like a snack. So I can understand that. Just wish I knew how to help him get over it. /sigh |
Coby LOVES big people, children, cats, bugs..... you name it. |
