Nope. Thank goodness. |
Daisy gets carsick all the time..I'm gonna try to take her for a ride a day..hopefully she'll grow out of it. She is still a pup! |
Siu Pao gets car sick quite frequently ever since he was a puppy. We do travel with him in the car almost every week but it is still the same. Hopefully he will be better when he gets older (he is 1 year old now). When we prepare him for a journey, usually an hour to my MIL's, I feed him very little and then feed him again when we reached the destination and that helps a lot. He won't eat ginger snap and motion sickness pills. What helps is letting him stare out of the window with the window down and he seemed to feel a little better. |
Hannah gets car sick if we go on a curvy road, but she only started getting car sick after I bought a new vehicle (pathfinder), she never got car sick in my Honda Accord. Even my daughter gets car sick in the Pathfinder......:thumbdown |
nope both mine do okay :D |
Brody got sick bringing him home from the breeders. It is about a 3 hour trip....He threw up once in my lap.... Benny threw up 6 times in the truck bringing him home form the breeders house. He was terrified- the grandbaby was crying-literally sat on the hwy for 50 something minutes...The trip was awful..... So we are going to work on it daily with both of them. Will try all the tricks mentioned previously. Ginger snap- AC- straight roads? See what works... |
In over the year that we had Pepper and all the trips we've taken with him - some as long as 5-6, he got sick only once - I still don't have a clue why  |
Have you tried using Ginger? Nope - so far so good - the longest we've been driving in the car is 2 hours - so I guess we are OK. :D But I guess it can't be fun for those that do. I heard that ginger is great for carsickness - it worked for our parrot when we had one - that's what my bird forum recommended and so did our Avian vet. Worth a shot. |
