Our first Yorkie was a girl that attached herself to my daughter. Maddie tolerated the rest of the family but adored Holly. And when Holly had Brooklyn, Maddie thought Brooklyn was hers.

I have my first boys now....Brody is very affectionate. So much more than Maddie ever was to us.

My first was a male and I've had males ever since. We talk about getting a female, but I just love males. They can be rough and tumble one minute, then mushy little love bugs the next.

Oh my,this is a blast from the past! I was 14,Diana was only 3lbs. so only junir handling, she was so tiny,my family had German Sheperds.Iwas so nervous that I used to sneak her to school with me in 9th grade.And if there are any oldies out there my mentor for yorkies was Betty Dullinger (may she RIP along with Diana).:aimeeyork

Hmm, not sure how to answer that one.

My first yorkie was a male (Scampers).
But I had Trixie first and she is a yorkiepoo so I don't know if she counts or not.
And my first furbaby was a female and non yorkie.

Just like MY TRIXIE 143 my first furbaby yorkie was a mix Yorkie & Papillion Taffy and she just turned 3 yrs. My full blooded Yorkie is a male C. J. and he is a snuggle bug. A lot more than Taffy she doesn't want to be held unless she gets on your lap first go to reach for her and she jumps backs.
C.J. is just now 5 months and he just learned to sit, sit up, down, and rollover. I showed my DH and he said thats nice, when is going to stop potting in the house. C.J. is 75 % broke .
