I have 4... Dells... we have Latitude and Inspiron and I love having a Dell.. mostly because I can work on them if anything happens... Dell support is superb... my daughter and I even replaced keyboard and onboard wireless modem.. its really cool to learn how the truly operate from the inside.. d |
You should really consider Apple Notebooks. They are really nice. |
I actually just ordered a Dell laptop and it should be coming in at the beginning of September. I have had many Dells and really love them! |
I have contemplated the Mac again. A few years back when they colored iMac (clamshells) came out I purchased one...but didn't care for the operating system. I am a total windows user all day and it's hard to go back and forth from the two operating systems. |
I have an HP and I really like it. I haven't had any problems at all with it. |

It requires that you install a program called bootcamp. I have this installed on my Mac and I have the option to boot under Windows or Mac OS. |
I use a Mac and will never use anything else :) i love it. it is EXTREMELY reliable. in the year that i have had mine, i have had ZERO problems with it...and all of my friends that have had their laptops less time than I have had mine...all have either bought new ones because theirs went NUTS or they have had theirs in the shop at least twice. and since it runs windows, i don't have to worry about websites that only run on windows or software programs that are not mac compatible. i will say this...i RARELY use windows on it. so, for me, the mac is the perfect laptop :) in fact, we have 3 macs in our house LOL |

I have a little macbook. My husband made me get it when my HP died and he said he was NOT supporting Vista. He is a programmer and he made the switch almost a year before me. We even put a little apple sticker on our car :) I use a PC at work and my only problem switching back and forth is that I hate windows now. It took me a while to adjust, but I did. People always ask me how to do stuff at work and I'm like, windows makes it too complicated... just buy a mac. Plus, they are TINY. |
Hp and i love it...its a notebook |

Dell inspiron - shouldn't have gotten such a big screen though, it's not very portable, it's pretty heavy. I'm afraid I wouldn't be computer saavy enough to figure out a mac book, but everyone I know that has one, loves them. |
We are Mac fans. However, when we needed to purchase a laptop, we couldn't afford the all-out Macbook that we wanted so we went for a Dell. We bought it during the 10 days of deals sale last year and have been very satisfied. It has a massive screen, nice keyboard layout, and works well for our field (graphic/web design). |
