My son just read that post, he thinks any 12 year old can spell better, it is bogus bad spelling in his opinion. Thinks it is probably a teen boy.? Not much can be done about stuff like that, except to get a grasp!

I don't think there should be an age limit here, because I am 14. I haven't seen any inappropriate things on this site, so why kick us kids out? Also, adults on here don't have to watch what they say. I know that another teen on here (wollfy) and myself have already heard many bad things, so you aren't exposing us to anything new.

I would like to thank browniesmom622, red98vett, Brutus'mama, and miezzi for mentioning the younger kids on here and saying that we are mature. I hope that you are posting about me being mature, considering that I am the only 14 year old girl that I know of on this site. There is a 13 year old girl (wollfy) and a 12 year old girl who are members of YorkieTalk who are also very mature. I do not understand why there should be an age limit. We aren't doing anything wrong, and I am sure all of our parents know we belong to YorkieTalk.com. I know that my mother has seen some of my posts and some posted by others, and she has absolutely no problem whatsoever with me belonging to YorkieTalk. She has even asked me several times to post a question about Riley (her baby) that she was wondering about.

I would also like to thank camorolynn, terri88, betteyanne, Laura, vainchick5, and Biddy'smom for expressing their opinion. I agree with them that there shouldn't be an age limit. I do not understand why myself and the other teenagers and kids on here are bothering those of you who think there should be an age limit. What are we doing that bothers you so much? I think that if all of the younger members follow the YorkieTalk rules just like everyone else, we should have the right to stay here and post our opinions, etc.

I hope that I did not hurt anyone's feelings even though mine were hurt in reading several of these posts. If I missed anyone who objected age limits or who mentioned me in their posts in a positive way, I am sorry. If I missed you, I am still very thankful that you are standing up for Jhordan, the other children on here, and I. Thanks.

I dont think that there should be age limits on here even though I have been seriously upset by a few posts and threads started by a younger member. There are some younger kids on here that are an absolute joy to talk to and I really dont think that YT would be the same without them.

I however do feel that as members we should really try to pay attention to certain younger members and what they say since I can recall a few times that we have all "had our undies in a bunch" (including myself) about things that have been said by them.

I dont think that we should have to show our age, but I do feel that those under 18 should have to. I just think that this way we would all know that we are talking to some one that is a minor and might not be quite as up on things as the rest of us that are adults. JMO

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it. Don't worry. I am enjoying my teen years and I wouldn't give them up for the world right now. I am happy to be the age that I am and I don't want to grow up fast. LOL

Midge- I never in a million years would have guessed that you are only 14. You are more well spoken and intelligent than half of the people that I go to school with (and I go to a major university). Bravo to you and your parents on a job well done! I also must say that I enjoy Jhordan's post very much too. (I'm sorry if I am leaving out any younger kids...sometimes I just have no sense of how old everyone it). I never would have guessed her age either. In fact, my 13 year old sister just joined the site this morning, and she is one of the best pet owners I have ever encountered. The funny thing is that there are a few people that I would have guessed were much younger than they were. I just think there is no way to be sure.

I am a little leery of letting the "young ones" in....but goodness, it certainly all depends! LOL. I'm 23 and I guess I've forgotten where I was 9 years ago.

I do remember being underestimated at 14 - and I'm sorry if I have underestimated any of the younger members because Midge has certainly proven us otherwise!

Also, I am glad to hear that your 13 year old sister is a great pet owner. Sometimes, I think that some kids can be some of the best pet owners. Pets just offer than unconditional love and friendship. Sometimes, it can be extremely hard to find a true friend in life, but you can always find one in a pet. And pets can be great teachers for kids. In my opinion, every kid needs a pet, preferrably a dog. LOL.

Once again, thanks to everyone that opposed the age limits and said such nice things about myself and the other younger members. W all appreciate it a lot! We love being a part of this site and we would be heartbroken if we were told we had to leave because of our ages.

Thanks Brosie1823. I enjoy your posts too. I enjoy everyone's posts but I just think that age matters doesn't in forums like this. Its about what its suppose to be...Our yorkies. And just think that yorkie forums and ages don't go. Plus I mean give their age...yes...it would be nice to know their age but it doesn't matter. I just think that some people on here should think about what do you do if you were in the position we minors or teens or children are in before posting something. Because what some people are posting now hurting our feelings as well. Just think about that.

i think all ages sould be alowed on this site what if some one hated yorkie got on this site would u what them or young kids?i know i have speeling mistakes. i want to be on to learn about yorkies and everything i love the breed yorkie are the best in all way but if u kick us of how how could we expess are self about them and ask Q

I defenatly don't think there should be an age limit on here. i think personally it could be easier to get a fight started in some areas if kids weren't on here. one of the things that i love is that some of the adults on here are mindful of what they say because of us kids. i am 12 years old and i don't know how i would survive if i couldn't come on here just because i'm younger. thanks for keeping this an age friendly place

You are also very well spoken and I would have never thought that you were as young as you are. I agree that I think some of us watch what we say because of you yungins(LOL). We are happy to have you,. There have just been some very contravertial things said by younger members and the older ones like myself want to see if there is a way to control these things that get us all stirred up. I agree!!! My 11 year old can spell better (than a lot of adults) and schools have such extensive testing and requirements now I don't think I believe that other post.

I agree. I have sons that are 8 and 11 and both of them wouldn't have passed to the next grade if they couldn't spell. I dont believe the other post. JMO

I think the limit should be 16. Post from children annoy the crap out of me. Refreshing is mountain air during the sun set. Not misspelling and grammer and punctuation errors in EVERY post. Oh and not to mention the constant whining.

The reason that it may seem that we do not like you is because you constantly make comments about wanting a yorkie and only having $150. It is also your spelling and grammar. Everyone is having a really hard time believing that you are who you say you are and we have a hard time believing the things that you say.

Megan, I\'ve told you before how mature I think you are. I think your posts are very intelligent and enjoy hearing about things from your perspective.

I don\'t think that there should be an age limit. If you are disturbed or don;t like what somebody says just ignore it. You do not have to answer the thread. I was on last night and I just saw the thread it disturbed me and just went on to read something else. I cannot do anything about it, especially that all of you were trying to help and were not able to accomplish anything. These threads make me very nervous.
