If you had another yorkie. What gender would it be? I was just wondering because I am thinking about getting another yorkie after Jeremiah turns 1 or 2.

If I got another, i would like a female and name her Caliope (Ca-Lie-O-Pee) or Callie for short :)

But since I can't get another with Miss Jealous Pants Sammi...I will just live off you guys with 2 or more :) LOL!!

You would be smart to get a female if you already have a boy, I just had an experience with my little male when i brought Marty home. They both started marking territory everywhere and my pee wee was house broke. Domminence thing they have. Since Marty has a new home pee wee has been fine.I have three other females.

Well if I got another yorkie it would be a female or male again or I would get both. I really want the experience with females but I love males. So if it comes down to it. Jerewiah maybe a older brother to two. Yorkie Addiction. :p

Being that I already have a fixed girl now, I'd get another female... and this time, I would make sure to put bows in her hair starting when she's a baby so she'd grow up liking it. Poochie doesn't like ANYTHING stuck to the top of her head. :(

I have one of each now, if I got another I would get a female. They both play really well with other female yorkies but every time they get around another male yorkie Max ignores him and Missy flirts with him :p

I have a girl now and would probably stick to a girl. I don't know something about a little girly dog with pretty pink bows in her hair and such. Plus then they could having matching clothes and bows. But I have to say if I got a boy I would name him Grover or Oscar because they look like littl muppets to me.

I just got my boy, and i love him to pieces, but i would get a girl.. cause i want to name her something girly like Emma, and get her cute pink stuff... my boy is already marking, so i dont want that again.

Would luv another Yorkie!!! I'd get a girl.... then Buddy and her could have pups!!! Then we could have loads of Yorkies!!!! Just fill the hose with Yorkies for all i care, I don't mind, the more the merrier.... LOL Would name her something like Cookie... or maybe Oreo??? Mmmm, oreos...

I would get a male yorkie since i already have a female, but overall i would get a female depending on how Maxi gets along with either of them. personality is key above gender. I also want to wait till Maxi is old enough so i don't have to go crazy trying to train 2 dogs at once. :cool:

Though I've only had her for a week, I love my little Olivia! I love being able to put little bows in her hair. Unfortunately, this week the temperature has been 90+ everyday so there is no dressing of Miss Olivia in any type of clothes. She gives me a reason to look forward to winter, though- dressing my little baby in some cute sweaters! She plays hard, though, and sometimes I just want her to sit and cuddle with me. For that reason, I would consider a boy because I've heard that boys sometimes cuddle more. Theo, my cat, is praying I get something soon so that he can take a nap! If she's awake, she's all over him wanting him to play. Sometimes he jumps onto the top of the couch or our high window ledge just to get a breather from her!

So I guess I would take either- I'm an equal opportunity yorkie lover!! :p

I have a male now, so i think a female would be appropriate since Charlie has aldraedy been in charge of things, i think fighting wih another male for control would be counter productive.

Not sure I would get another yorkie it would depend who was in the rescue looking like they needed a new home. Still they say variety is the spice of life ;) What ever we got would be the opposite sex to what we have at the moment.

Next dog I get is going to be a female Malt, but if I had to get a Yorkie, I'd get a female so I could have one of each.

I'm on the hunt for a male yorkie. We already have a girl,Skittles. Havent picked a name for the future boy, some sort of candy name tho. :)

Yorkies are like people in that they all have very different personalities. I have both a male and a female and I love them both for different reasons. I am looking for another girl because Chai is my daughter's and she will be leaving for college in a year and taking Chai with her. :(

I want another yorkie already (have had Bailey for about 3 months now) but have to wait. I plan on finishing Bailey's ch. and as soon as he gets all of his points, I'll start looking for a female to show as well. And then a few years after that, hopefully be ready to have my first litter
