hiding things are we? the thread on distruction of the little angels got me thinking about what the spouses don't know they did. how many of you have hid some of the distruction caused by you little angels from your spouses? |
I have hidden a chewed internet cable cord so that my hubby can't see it. Don't tell on me!! I have also cleaned up accidents really fast! |
I have hidden a chewed internet cable cord so that my hubby can't see it. Don't tell on me!! I have also cleaned up accidents really fast!
Me too! Actually, the other day, he peed on my bf's working boots! OMG! That was a fast clean up, and I didn't say anything! |
:D Once was the line connecting the tv to the speaker....I wasn't watching him for a minute and Siu Pao chewed it off  I tried to hide it by putting a small stool on it but got caught by hubby :( We still haven't 'fix' it yet :p Then, he tried the laptop electrical chord  I sprayed it with lots of Bitter Apple, white vinegar and he stays out of it until now. The chord is still intact with just a little teeth marks...phew! |
I have cleaned up messes really fast and have also hidden a cord that she chewed. |
No, luckily my husband is as besotted with these puppies as I am :D What we do find odd, though, is when they do chew up something, we usually just laugh it off (told you we are besotted), but I know that had my kids done some of this same destructive stuff when they were little, I KNOW I wouldn't have laughed. We have either just totally lost it over these two, or we have just mellowed ALOT!! |
No i dont hide it from my hubby, he will put up with anything Pippa does as he knows she makes me happy! |
My husband gets so angry when they pee or poop on the floor that it makes me a nervous wreck! The girls do very well with the pad but sometimes they go on the floor...If I find poop I pick it up very quickly...Don't want to listen to him. |
Mine love Longaberger! They chew up a lot of stuff as puppies will - can't watch them every minute but the worst is several of my Longaberger baskets! Ouch! Of course the ones they picked on were the larger (more expensive) and retired ones. :aimeeyork :animal-pa |
When he was smaller and he chewed through the internet cable that took him like an hour to put up. Then he chewed the corners of the walls, this wood board that we put up so he wont jump into his sons room and the stereo wire, On day i found that he was chewing on the border of our wall in our room and i hid it from him putting Rocky's bed in front of it so he wont see it lol he hasnt seen it till this day! |
Ferdinand isn't really that destructive (other than ripping paper to shreds). The only thing he's chewed through is a laptop charger cord (not plugged in). Then we got a new one, and he chewed through that one too. I have hidden potty messes that he's made... usually only when my bf is really annoyed about something because I don't want to add to the irritation. But other than that - I don't hide anything at all from my bf (dog-related or non-dog related). So I chose "okay, maybe a couple times" |
Hubby doesn't get as cross at them as I do...lol...those pups have him totally WRAPPED around their paws! Topher has chewed more than his share of plugs off of cords and I stand there and wag my finger at him and get cross and hubby comes along, takes the plug and the cord to go and fix it and he says 'it's no big deal' He's totally in love with the little cute faces that they give him when they're feeling guilty...hehe. They know where to run when they're in trouble with me....they run to hubby! |
hmmm... you mean like running with a wash cloth and odor ban when we hike our legs on the corners of the new house.... hmmm... |
I lie about accidents, the times I've tripped water on the floor is unreal! :D |
i hide the mess all the time. From visitors ,family, friends.. I dont want them to think my girls are piggies.. |
My husband LOVES his girls, and no matter what they would do, he would not say a harsh word to them. I've never kept anything from him, but then they haven't done anything wrong either. I've been blessed with two perfect little Yorkster girls. |

kinda hard to hide strips of linoleum floor that's been chewed and pulled up, especially when hubby got home before I did!!! Of course, this was many years ago when Gabby was just a puppy. We were so mad at her then but now, we can find the humor in it (if one can find humor in a 3 foot diameter hole chewed up smack dab underneath your table!!) - she was bored, lonely, and pissed as heck at us for leaving her home while we worked!! She showed us real quick who was boss :D |
It is probably the other way around at our house! I'm the one that gets frustrated when I find torn up, chewed up stuff........."but they're just puppies, give them a break....they don't know any better, yet".......might be a good thing they have someone on their side..LOL |
Hubby tries to hide the destruction and "accidents" from me OR  he blames the grandchildren....I can tell. It was hard for him to hide the chew marks on the corners of the grandfather clock. |
Ha, I can't wait to tell hubby " Look what Your kids did" Then the furkids get in trouble and they make sad faces, then here comes Mom to hold them and kiss them. Hubby takes his boy and tell him he was just kidding. We show them who's the boss:p |
I said a couple of times . I pick accidents up quickly and my Longaberger baskets are now kept up high out of reach . He loves to chew up any little plastic toys if the grandkids leave them laying around . His favorite thing to get is the baby's pacifier . He looks so cute with it in his mouth . I got to get a picture of that sometime ! |
