How do you cruise YT? a poll
 
I usually hit "New Posts" to see what's going on on the board. It gives me the most current posts from all the individual forums, i.e., general discussion, my yorkie, health, polls, etc.

The drawback is that "New Posts" zeroes out at the end of the day. I end up missing a lot of good stuff. The alternative of cruising each individual forum seems like it would take too long.

What do you do and why do you like that way? And I'm mainly looking for what you do MOST.

Im so busy at work never for YT though i always just hit New Post sometimes i do it so much i have to wait 20 sec because i hit it so often.


Cant get enough of my YT!

I always hit new posts, however on a rare time or two I have went from section to section.

I always go to new posts first. If it's a slow time for new posts then I cruise the forums or look up my favorite TY'rs most recent posts.

What can I say.... I'm nosy and addicted!

Sometimes after selecting "New Posts" I go to the last page and start looking for threads with only a couple of posts. If I can I reply to those first to bring them to the beginning. I always feel bad when good threads get lost on page 12...

That's a good idea. I keep missing those that get buried.

I always click new posts first (unless I come on looking for something specific). and I read what I can on that. Then I go to Off Topic to read up there. and then General, then My Yorkie etc.

It's just so cumbersome:

"new posts" "last page" "15", etc...

I wish there was a way to organize new posts by number of replies.

I always use "New Posts" unless I'm looking for a particular thread. Mine doesn't zero out at the end of the day though, it just continues from the last time I logged on......

Actually I hit new posts and also use the search feature quite a bit.

Hmm, maybe mine zeroes out if I hit new posts and then don't read all the new posts. Something brings it down to zero daily.

I always browse certain sections: My yorkie, Off topic, product review, products for sale and general.

You were the one I was thinking of when I made this poll. You told me once that you don't use New Posts. But I ASSUMED it was by choice, not that you didn't know what new posts is! LOL.

New Posts is one of the links on the dark blue bar at the top of any page. It's the same bar that has User CP on one end and Log Out on the other.

I just noticed now there's a link under Quick Links (same blue bar) that is Today's Posts. That might be a better alternative altogether.

I have my daily routines and I dont like change so Im gonna stick to browsing titles in my favorite sections, lol. :p Im old and set in my ways, what can I say? LOL :D :D
