Changing Vehicles.. 4 Attachment(s) Ok so I am changing vehicles.. I am selling my Tahoe and I am getting a Cougar ..really good on the gas ...so I am getting it painted a different color I wanted to get some opinions on your favorite one.. I will attach picks of my favorite 2 and you pick on the poll or here .... here goes!:D FYI: These are not my cars .. and that is not me in that pic.. just copied them for the color choices...lol:p 1. Vibrant White 2. Rio Red 3. Grabber Green 4. Light Sapphire Blue |
I like white. I have a white car and it stays really clean...it doesn't show dirt. It also won't get really hot in the summer. And white is timeless and you won't ever get tired of it. I say go for white! |

I had the a green cougar!! I loved it, but the car did seem to have with alternators always going out. |
really... well at least it can be fixed... lol.. I have a Black Tahoe LT right now and I am selling it because it is always one thing or another with it... and everything is so darn expensive to fix on it.... anyhow so I wanted to paint my new to me car so I think Im gonna go with white too.. I think it makes the car look sophisticated and clean...lol |

I actually like the red one best but I voted for the sapphire blue. It is a close second to the red and red has a BIG drawback. The most ticketed color of car is red. They are stopped more for speeding than any color. Another of my "nearly useless" factoids I picked up online. I had a Cougar once back in the 70's-- it was a deep green color. I loved that car! |
Since you live in Texas, I'm going to tell you to not get the red vehicle. After just a couple of years, your once vibrant, beautiful red will have a faded look to it. Red cars just do NOT keep well in Texas. I voted for the white. While the Blue is a nice color, I think that Cougars look better in white. JMO |

I have a red Jaguar and love it. Red is definitly an attetion getter, mine hasn't faded but it gets waxed and professionaly cleaned monthly and I get a gloss coat put over it once a year so if you do go with Red and want to keep it looking vibrant you could try that. There' just something about a hot red car that I love, to me it is timeless and suits my personality. I say go with red :) |

I would generally say white, but that car looks best in red to me. Plus, red is just so classy! If you're worried about tickets, get a radar detector. |

I did have a really nice blue car back in 1989 and kept it for 5 years and the top started looking like it had snow on the top all the time .... but I think thatz a factory defect ..... it was the only time it ever happened to me ... then I had green; this time I got red b/c I had had blue for the last 2 cars and that was the only color that pleased me ... the black was dismal, I didn't care for the white, silver, beige ones. white or red, but im leaning towards white, and tel me about the gas i have a tahoe and my husband has a 4x4 silverado, uhhh we fill up every week and then we have the littel cavalier that i cant part with it was my first car i bought myself, and onetanklast like 2 weeks 3 weeks driving everyday, but i lovee my tahoe, i love it but my hubbys truck is red and i hate it, its not like a darker red it just red, blood red, i hate it but he loves it, red is nice but not on huge trucks |
