Human Companionship Poll Do you leave your dog unaccompanied for more than 12 hours in a day? If you answer A or B, please provide the age of your dog. |

Nope. I am never gone that long. If I think I am going to be gone for a while, I take him to a sitter or take him to work with me. He doesn't mind being alone. |

The longest I have ever left Hootie and Hobbs alone is 6 hours. That is the longest I will EVER leave them alone. If something comes up and I cannot come home and let them out, then I make other arrangements -- daycare, friend or family member come let them out, ect. |

I'm usually wanting to get back home after just a couple of hours. And I have two, if I only had once I would feel horrible. |

Mojo is only left at home by himself when we run a quick errand or go to youth meetings, etc (somewhere that he can't go)......and that is maybe 3 hours or so TOPS! I stay at home, so we are home all day with him. If we go on a trip that he can't go on (which doesn't happen often), he stays w/ my MIL. |

The only place my baby doesn't go with us is the grocery store.Other than that he's always with us.Including vacations. He enjoys going bye-bye!He loves everyone. |

layla is always with someone.. either me.. my parents or the babysitter |

That's just too long to leave a yorkie alone. I wouldn't do it. |

When I go to work, Nico is with my mom. He's too "wittle and precious" to "weeve awone"!!! |

I only leave my baby boy alone when we go to church, and that is only for 1 hour. Bianka and Billie |

Never, never, never longer than 3 hours! Hubby and I are retired so we are mostly home all the time. I have a wonderful petsitter if we have to be gone for longer periods of time and they love it when we bring the kids to their house! |

The longest Rocky has been a lone was 8-9 hours, and it was only a couple times when work schedules didn't compromise. That is the longest I'll leave him, and I hate when I have to do it...so luckily it's very odd that that has happened. Other than that it's only like 3-4 hours. If there ever was an emergency (knock on wood), hopefully my mom or cousins who live close by would be able to come and spend some time with him. Actually my bf's best friend just moved in down the street, and Rocky considers them his second parents. They would probably come be with him if anything. |
