My yorkie had pups in Febuary and she ended up with a c-section. After 3wks she developed mastitisis and I had to bottle feed 5 pups. All survived allthough it was touch and go for a while. |
Silk Silk had an unexpected C-Section, two pups and one died. |
everything has gone well. No c-sections and none passed away. |

My Sophie had a great delivery, we expected 2 pups maybe three, and we had four. We lost our little boy Fergus, I was heartbroken. We kept the fourth baby and named her Isis. She is a true joy to have in our home. We placed the other two girls with a niece and a friend. I can keep tabs on them and know they are doing great. Our neice even has her little one stay all night sometimes. Its great. |
both my girls had pups this year and neither had complications Maggie had 3 little boys and Dee Dee had 2 girls and 3 boys it made my year i thoroughly enjoyed the experience!as did the girls. |

Both of my girls did fantastic. No problems and each of them had 3 healthy puppies. |
Our Cloe had four pups, three females and one male. Call me crazy, but since she is four and after they brought in 6,400....I fixed her. I did use part of the money to buy a really nice opal with two karats of diamonds around her. When I get angry with her I just look at my finger and give her a kiss. |
Lily had to have a c-section....5 pups born. Lily developed an infection and passed away 5 days later. One of the puppies lasted 2 weeks, one lasted 3 weeks......we are only left with 3 puppies, but luckily they seem to be doing great at 4 weeks old. |
I have never had a C-section with any of my litters and any puppies lost have all been within 24 hours. My last litter (Mom 4 3/4 pounds, Dad just under 4 pounds) at the end of July produced 4 puppies, 3 boys and 1 girl. One little boy had respiratory difficulties at birth and survived less than 24 hours. He was 2 and 1/2 ounces at best, compared to the others at 3 and 3 and 1/2 ounces. Although, I would say and he did look premature, she was only mated one time at the very end of the cycle (wasn't planning on breeding her this heat) since I had just bought her recently. The others are all very healthy and are 17 weeks old now settled into their new homes. We are having a puppy visiting day today so I can't wait to see what they weigh and what they are looking like. |
