When we bought Toto, we not only promised our breeder that we would provide herToto anything and everything that she ever wanted or needed, but we made a committment to Toto! We knew that we would be able to keep that promise and committment or we would never have bought her ... just because she was cute! :) As long as it would not just prolong a miserable, painful life, we would spend whatever it takes. We would do no less for Toto than we would do for any of our skinkids! I shall now lapse into my "Scarlett O'Hara Mode" [as Patrick refers to it!] and not think about this any more until tomorrow .... for after all, tomorrow is another day! ;) |
Everyone else already took the words out of my mouth. I voted $5000 + I've already spent THOUSANDS of dollars on all of my babies over the years (not all emergencies, only a couple), and I will continue to do so as long as God allows me to have them. I would do whatever it takes, money is no option. I could NEVER, EVER walk out of my vet's office knowing that money was the only thing that stopped me from bringing my baby(s) home safe with me. No way, no how. My babies are PRICELESS! |
I would spend whatever it took for my babies...as long as I was not keeping them in pain |
I am willing to spend whatever it takes.... Penny is the love of our life. She has brought us so much joy. Everyday waking up and seeing that sweet little face, is a day that the sun shines in my life. 'ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY' |
how much... I spent $5000 on emergency care on my 14 yr old dog in the hopes of having him another year until I realized how selfish I was being to my beloved companion. He was suffering , not improving, and I owed him the dignity of a swift painless end rather than prolonging it because I wanted him with me. |

As much as it costs is how much I would spend. |
im with gingergirlsmom, i would take out a second mortgage if i had to any amount of money would go to my babies! |
I'm willing to spend any amount on an emergency as long as the prognosis was good and I wasn't being selfish in keeping them here if they would be better off over the rainbow bridge. |
I answered 2000-5000 because I have already spent $5000...just this year on two surgeries and medicine and follow up care for bladder stones. :( I'm sure it will be over $5000 by the end of this year. |
Whatever it takes. I've already had to pay for two emergencies (thankfully insurance helped out some). I could not imagine life with out my rascal!! |
If the outlook was good for my baby and she was not going to suffer, I would spend all I had to or until hubby said NO MORE then I would have to dip in saving. |
I would spend whatever it took to make my yorkie better. |
More than 5000 my pets are my life :D |
