Does anyone else's yorkies look like that when they wake up? |
Josie only sleeps with us for a special treat. When she does she wakes us up to early. It's kind of cute because she just kisses our ears or face, but who wants to be up at 5:00am on the weekend? LOL! She has her own nice and snuggly bed with a blanket and teddy bear! She sleeps longer in her own bed for some reason. |
I would have voted but the option of never was not listed.... Am I a bad Yorkie mom? I vowed to treat her like a dog before I got her and for the most part I have. Well, that is if you don't count the dress up, manicures, pedicures, constant fussing over her hair do, wide slection of hair products and decorations. Uh Hmm.... All of that aside, I have been very clear with her that we are the people and she is the dog. We use the potty and she uses the pad or the great outdoors. We sleep in big human beds and she sleeps in her crate or her little doggie bed. My husband does bring her in to bed for a bit of cuddle time in the am, like 10 min's. But I don't call that sleeping with us, just bonding. I would love to sleep with her! Don't get me wrong! I just think that I need to establish clear rules in my home first. Just like I do with my own children. So my vote is not at all for now. |
One does, one doesn't Sabrina does - just a habit from when she was small. But I'm training Elvira to sleep in her crate. It's fine for them to sleep with me at h ome, but can cause problems when visiting, and frankly, I've learned. Now - naps - they both can take naps with me. |
