My family just can not agree on a name for our new pup so thought I'd ask all of you to help settle this!

Oh Jen I too like that, if that was the case. Blizzard is a unique name and it would fit him if he was born in one. Very Cool!! Elaine

Well he wasn't born during one but he was shipped and we had multiple problems with the weather and he arrived during one so that is the thinking behind "Blizzard"

And for what it's worth, the first 5 names are all baseball related. My boys are really into baseball and the Yankees are their favorite team and the other 4 names are all well known Yankee players except for Ozzie - Ozzie Smith according to my son is the greatest short stop ever and that's the position he plays.:) I just like the name Jack and my youngest son thinks Sparky is a cute name but my older son is wearing him down. :p Hubby came up with Blizzard but the boys don't like that one at all! Can you see what I'm dealing with here? We've had trouble naming our other 2 as well and it usually takes us all at least a week to finally come to some sort of agreement. I picked Libby's name and just wore them down last time so I feel like they should get to pick what they like but I do think Jack is really cute.

I think you should tell your boys to take a hike and you name the pup lol! That's what I did, I hated all of the names my sons suggested, and my husband didn't care, so I got to pick! I voted for Blizzard though, I think it's the most fun!

How cute is he!!!!!! I picked Ozzie - but then in 2 weeks when I get my little boy...that will be his name! Osgood Maynard (then our last name) hee hee.. We also have a Yogi, but he is a Bernese Mountain Dog. One of my other picks was Jaxson, calling him Jack-Jack!! So I liked that one also!!
