I was giving Deegan rawhide, until I found out that it was bad for them. so now I buy bully sticks. He loves them! |
No bully sticks for my guys (Ewww can't handle the smell) but they both regularily get rawhide/pig ears/cow hooves. |
Rawhide sticks have not been too popular with my babies. They fight over them, hide them in the furniture, and have occationally chocked. So I find they are not worth the hassle. |
I bought some cow hooves today for Sophie & Daisy. They smell *awful* - just like cow poop. The smell brings back memories of milking cows when I was younger. YUCK! |
I give mine the grounded rawhide sticks. |
No rawhides, pigs ears or cows hooves because they are not easily digestible. My dogs lov love love bully sticks so they get them on special occasions or when they are in the carrier and need to be quiet!! shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... |
Simon and Hallie get flossies (by Merrick) and bullysticks! I order them in bulk online! They love them and it takes them a week to make it through them. I do however throw them away when they get small so I don't have to worry about them choking! |
Rawhide - NO WAY!! Bully Sticks - Yes |
are flossies considered bully sticks?? |

I give Tigger compressed rawhide. it lasts a long time and it doesn't come of in chunks. I work in the pet retail industry and Know that this isn't good for dogs, but I see nothing wrong with giving them it while supervising them. this way if something does go wrong I'm here to help. I actually suggest corn startch velvets made by Booda, or velvet bimples made by the same company. this way they crumble into really fine pieces and are digestible. |
i agree witht he velvet boodas .. i give that to Chicle and he loves em! you will see it in their poop so dont get scared. you will see white chunks .. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- are flossies considered bully sticks?? |
