Pet Store. I didn't realize that the puppies all came from mills ( my family dog came from a byb and we bred her so that was the only doggy experience I had) now I understand from what my little baby came and I am so grateful that she is so healthy and perfect. When I'm ready to give Kasha a brother/sister it will surely be a rescue. |

We bought our little Kinder from a breeder. I talked to her quite often on the phone and through e-mail. Also we had a great experience and drove out of state to pick our baby up. I thank YT because I found this breeder on the featured breeder list. We are very happy. |
I bought my girl at a vet store. The veterinarian was also the owner of Kimmi's mom. She was in perfect condition, well behaved, housetrained, and very loved. Today she is a very loving dog, calm, not at all nervous. Couldn't have asked for a better dog. Excelent experience. |

I bought Andy from a breeder and she was wonderful .She did everything possible to make his first week transistion go smooth .She gave me a care pack with him so I would be able to be with him and not have to buy a thing . Care pack consisted of .A blanket that mommy laid on off and on for two days, peepads, toys, leash, harness, food, treats,A photo album of his birth ,pictures of him and mommy, siblings and daddy right up until he come to me . When Andy had his dental surgery ,I went to vet to pick him up and pay for surgery receptonist told me Andy's breeder called and paid for his surgery . I was speechless. Andy has been fixed ,When I am ready I will deffinatly buy my next yorkie from her |
We got Bear from a pet store, before we new any better...but we DID get to meet his parents, who were healthy show dogs :) |
We bought Brittany from a breeder. We actually rescued her. The breeder was done with her because the vet said she could not have any more puppies. She was only four years old and already worn out. She now has a good and happy home and she loves it! Grayson was given to us by a friend. They had a new baby and the dog and baby did not mix very well. He was only two years old when we got him. He has adjusted to us well and has a great personality. |

We got Mocha from a petstore BEFORE we were aware of puppy mills and the torture and abuse that dogs go through while there. We are blessed to have gotten a puppy that has a perfect bill of health (outside of allergies). He is the absolute best thing that has happened to my husband and I. Since our purchase of Mocha, I have educated myself about puppy mills. I don't know for a fact if Mocha is a product of a puppymill or not, but I have vowed to give him the very best life he can have and deserves, not because of where he may have come from, but simply because I love him! All dogs need love regardless of where they come from. . . |
I got Daisy from a breeder that I met at a Nashville Dog show. I wanted a female and she would email me if she had one that she wasn't going to keep for showing purposes. Daisy was too small to show and I fell in love with her at first sight. The breeder was very helpful and was always available to answer any questions. She even had me over for some grooming lessons. If I wanted another one, I would call her. |
We purchased Khloe from a local breeder from Charlotte and it was a fabulous experience! She was very knowledgeable, patient, and cared about the adults and pups that she had immensely. Before you could purchase from her, you had to fill out an application, and be put on a waiting list because she only had two dams and two sires that had litters every two years. She purchased her dogs from a Brazilian dog show, and was able to give us a lot of history on her dogs. After the 6th year and 3rd litter, her dams retire to "living the good life", and they are pampered throughout their pregnancies as well. Her pups come with a 3 year health guarantee, AKC/CKC papers, 24/7 on-going support if I have any additional questions, and she even has a buy back policy if you aren't 100% satisfied with your pup (which we are, I wouldn't take any amount of money for her. We love her to death). The breeder doesn't run a lot of litters and doesn't have a lot of dogs to breed with because she is highly selective, and she is as interested in the dog's temperaments as she is their physical attributes. We simply adore our breeder and our Khloe. She is a wonderful lady, and if anyone is in the market for a Yorkie in the next year, I would definitely recommend putting in an application with her. She's wonderful! |
