We were considering it because I wanted pick of the litter and Tigger would produce Beautiful little ones and we even had a female picked out. But then I posted on here and got back some replys that made me talk John out of it. Needless to say we got him Neutered at almost six months and well I'll just settle for rescueing someone from the shelter. :D |
i wanted to breed misty at first but she turned out to be way too small. and another reason its too risky. even if she was over 5lbs i think i still will not breed her. way too scary :( |
I would like to but not for awhile. My male is 5 and my female alittle over a year. She has only had 1 heat and is so much a puppy still. I would be afraid that she would jump or something and lose the pups. She has to calm down alot before i consider it and have a few more heats. I also need to do research. I use to breed dalmations but that is so different than these small babies. |
I did want to then the male of mine I wanted to use was brutally killed by my Bichon so the female I am about to get will strictly be a pet and my other females are all going to be fixed asap I will not own another male I am so devistated that my husband took the other male to the humane society for adoption I couldn't even look at him nor could I leave the house Monday... |
I've never ever considered breeding Twinkie, she's waaaay to small (about 2.6lbs). |
I don't have her home but after reading many scare post on here it was never even in the cards, Over the weekend i went to petsmart and there was a couple there with a yorkie and i stopped to talk. I have never seen these people b4 in my life and i started talking about to get in a few weeks and they asked me to breed her with there dog. He was a yorkie so he was cute but he looked unhealthy. I asked how big he was they said 4lbs and then they sai he is a teacup yorkie i bit my toungue, then i asked about his potty traing and how it was going for them and they said he marks every where and i mentioned getting him neutered and they didnt even know what that was?!?!?! |
No, I never considered it as to many Yorkies are thrown away now. To many little dogs are euthanized at the pounds and this will only get worse as small dogs become more popular  . |
Have I ever considered Chewey being a stud: Yes! Would I ever really do it? No. Plus, he's getting fixed this week so it's moot! |
yes, I do breed. Have 2 grown females that I breed. Two additional ones that will be of breeding quality when old enough no less than 18 months. I have one beautiful girl to small, she is 7 months and 1.9 lbs. she will be spayed next month. Of course she is the apple of my eye. Love all my girls, but Tiffany has no idea she is small, so full of herself. Love that kid. Barbg |
Have I considered it....yes, I think we all might have had (at one time or another), that little twinge of wanting our precious little ones to have their one little ones. I would definitely want to be more educated on every aspect of breeding (male and female sides) before even making my decision! Would I breed....more thanl ikely not....not Mojo...I think he is the BEST and I would hate for anything to happen to him or change him in anyway. In the future....maybe. Again, I would want to know more and have a good mentor, but again, that is a very strong maybe..... |
