Your pups temperment I've decided that Layla is a sensitive girl. Just wanted to see how you would categorize your Yorkie's temperament and hopefully we aren't alone :p. If you have more than one dog you can vote for more than one. |
Kissy is sensitive. She startles easily and is terrified of loud noises. She freaks during thunderstorms too. Angel is easy going..nothing phases her Princess is pretty much in her own little world  Candy is easy going but can really be a brat! LOL |
I love how Princess is in her own little world :p |
My Dex is easy going... the only thing that bothers him is other dogs and kids. Mostly because he is never around kids so when he is, he gets nervous. Other than that... he is the most laid back baby! My Fletch is anxious... I feel bad for him. Hes afraid of EVERYTHING but other dogs! haha They are brothers, from the same liter, never seperated since birth and ive had them since they were 9 weeks old and their personalities are soooooo different! |
Emma is sensitive, like Layla. She get anxious too when one of us is gone at night or in the evening-every little sound will make her think that someone's coming home. She also gets protective of me when DH is gone late at night or out of town for a weekend. Milli is my easy going one-not much bothers her, she's always cheery and goofy as heck! She doesn't really mind being left, and doesn't mind changes too much. |
This is a really tough question. Winston is all 3...sensitive, easy going and anxious...at different times, under different circumstances. But a voted sensitive...over all. |

Well I checked easy going for Izzy- nothing bothers her not even the fireworks. I guess since we went to all that training to become a therapy doggie that loud noices don't bother her. However she is very alert to people and things outside and protecting her home!!! Oh and if you ask the cats they would tell you that she never leaves them alone! |
I voted 'easy going' for my Littlest Mac. At 13 weeks of age, he's not afraid of anyone or any dog. He wants to meet them all. Thunderstorms don't faze him in the least maybe because my other two dogs are not afraid of T-storms either. A loud car / motorcycle going passed will make him stop and look; and sometimes he's afraid of something he didn't notice before - like a shovel standing at the garage door. But otherwise Mac is the most happy-go-lucky little rascal ready to take on the world! :animal36 |
Hot Rod is probably a little of all of the choices. He's really easy going laid back but does get scared at unknown loud noises like thunder. Cars, boat or tractors starting doesn't bother him. the door bells doesn't bother him either. He runs to investigate weird sounds. He definitely keeps an ear out for noises like when the neighbors are walking in front of our house he sometimes barks. He also sometimes will bark when it is really windy out and the trees and tall grasses are blowng around-I guess he thinks it's someone moving around. |
All of the puppies that were from Sunnie w/Rocky have been very laid back and cuddle bugs. This last litter was Sunnie w/Jake and they both have the termperment of Jake, Princess more than Jack. Alert and listening for something to warn me of, loud, stubborn. Sunnie's last litter with Rock gave us Chewy who's very sensitive. He acts like his little heart is breaking if you tell him no. |
I've got one who's sensitive, and another who's easygoing. Snickers gets his feelings hurt very easily and is easily startled by loud noises, etc. Baxter is the complete opposite. The only thing that excites him is food or treats. Otherwise, the sky could be falling and he wouldn't bat an eye!:) |

That is exactly how our Winston is too, and how we voted also:) |
Slade is so easy going (yet hyper). NOTHING bothers him! He could care less if I'm around or not. I left him for a week when I went to Boise and it didn't even phase him. I don't even think he realized I was gone. Today I accidently cut his quick *i felt AWFUL for doing it) and he didn't even cry or yelp. |
