Is your Yorkie a snuggler? (This is a multiple choice for those with more than one) Jack is a snuggler most of the time, but he still calls the shots. He likes sleeping at the foot of the bed, but when his mama turns off the heating blanket when she gets up, he comes up and snuggles with me. Other times, he's always wanting to be on someone's lap. Eddie, on the other hand, is a loner. He snuggles with his mama late at night, but he seldom wants to snuggle with me. Here's a poll to see where your Yorkies are on the snuggle scale. |
Pheobe is a daddy's girl and she is always in his arms, but with me not very affectionate. But Boo-Boo is mommy's boy and he always always snuggles with me. But I sooooooooo love it. LOL |
Seymour will climb on your lap & snuggles any chance he gets. Shelby would rather lay in her bed and stretch way out........ she likes her space. |
Both of mine are snugglers :D:D |
Izzy LOVES to snuggle and with anyone that will share their lap or especially if they want to carry her around. She is my baby and will always snuggle with me if I'm in any type of sitting position..haha. But if I'm not around then it's her daddy that gets a turn. She is such a friendly doggie that when we have company she loves it since it's "pass the doggie". :D Oh funny story..my DH had poker night at the house a few weeks back and I was worried that Izzy would get stomped on by guys who are not used to little dogs. Well I was out at the time this game started so when I got back home I was looking for her and here she was being held by the guys at the table playing poker.;) |
My 2 boys are snugglers, especially Pi'i, the youngest one:) My girl is more independent and prefers to snuggle on 'her terms' - LOL! |
Kayla likes to snuggle too. You know how some yorkies like to get up in under your chin and lay with they are babies. Kayla still does that. Went to the vet Friday and there was someone there with a HUGE G.S. and of course it barked at her. She must have thought it was a horse and he probably thought she was a mouse. But, anyway right up in under my chin she went. Poor baby was scared to death. |
Jake is ALWAYS a snuggler and likes to lay right next to mommy. And, he owns my lap.;) Jackson snuggles when he wants to, but nothing like Jake. He likes to pick his times. At night, they both start out sleeping right next to me. After awhile, Jackson moves down by my feet. He doesn't like to snuggle while sleeping, but he HAS to be touching me lol. Of course, if Jackson sees me snuggling Jake, he gets in on the action because he gets a little jealous. They are both mommy's boys.:) |
Hi wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm still new to YorkieTalk and am getting used to all of these processes. Yes both Mica and Kali are both snugglers when they are tired and in the mood. Sometimes they are active and just want to play or be chased though. They are still young as Mica is 10 months and Kali is just 3 months.. Take care. Cory:animal36 |

Edie snuggles only when she is tired. Otherwise, there is too much to do...balls to push around, birds to chase, begging for treats from Dad, that's pretty much what she is all about. |
AprilLove=snugglebug 98% of the time (the other 2% of time she decides whether I earn that snuggle or not:p) Nappy=snugglebug 110% of the time CandiRoze=snugglebug 200% of the time :p |
Harry is in my mom's lap any chance he can get. Thor like to decide who and when, but is especially cuddlie in the morning. He is so cute in the morning! :) |
Winston loves his daddy...will follow him every where and jumps up in his lap even before he sits down. So yes, he loves to snuggle. But at bedtime...it's mom he wants to snuggle with. I think it's a comfort/security thing! |
Chewy is a daddy's boy at all times except at dinner time when he all of sudden remember's I'm around, my girl Choupette is a mommy's girl BIG TIME and the little one Tucson is anybody's dog who is willing to pick him up.:D |
