Hi..I voted barking as I am having a hard time getting Mica to stop barking at strangers when we go for a walk. She is only 10 months and I am trying to socialize her as much as possible. When Mica approaches strangers she is so friendly but she seems to want to protect me when she sees people approaching from a distance. She also pulls on her leash so I guess she considers herself the pack leader. I am trying to calm and assertive with training her. Hopefully when she gets older she will become more obedient. Any suggestions would be welcomed at this point. Take care. LOL mom of Mica and Kali.:animal36 |
Anxiety See I know a lot of people have problems with barking and potty training, but for me personally its the horrible separation anxiety! I can't walk out of the room without Cookie crying endlessly for me to return. It's bad :( That's really the only problem I've had with her. |
Mine would be .... 1) Barking 2) .... large dog aggression |
we were- leash pulling large dog agression (only when they get TOO close) and our largest issue- shyness |
Well, Ellie has all of those fine disobedient qualities and more to add. |
I choose the food aggresion/hoarding/jealosy issue. Although i have dealt with a variety of other issues in the past, this one appears to be the current one. My dogs, generally stop barking when told to, they are now all house trained, I've never had to deal with separation anxiety since I have several dogs, they went through the destructive phase when they were younger. But right now they love to taunt each other with their toys. It's kind of funny but it does tend to put the entire pack on edge, and some pretty heated arguments break out occasionally, although no one has ever gotten hurt. |
I voted for the play biting. It was hard at first to potty train her, but now she's doing great. The biting, however, won't stop when you get her started. It doesn't bother me too much though. |
