Nikon D3100 Well I'm excited :D Just ordered it for my first DSLR camera, just to see how I enjoy joining those in the digital photography world. I know it's not the greatest of the great, but from reviews I've learned it is one of the best entry level DSLR's out there, and I got it in a bundle pack for $750. Quite a bit more than I've ever spent on a camera but I'm exicted about the great pictures I'll be able to take :) Now I just have to wait for it's arrival, and since I'm excited about it it'll take forever, lol  Anyways, this is what I got, and I'm trying to decide what my up-grade lense will be once I get a hang of the in-package lenses do. Nikon D3100 | Nikon and the kit I purchased includes: ♦ 1) Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera & AF-S 18-55mm VR Zoom Lens ♦ 2) Nikon AF-S 55-200mm VR Zoom Lens ♦ 3) Transcend 16GB High-Capacity SecureDigital (SDHC) Card ♦ 4) Vivitar 52mm UV Glass Filter ♦ 5) Additional Vivitar 52mm UV Glass Filter ♦ 6) Nikon Compact Digital SLR System Case ♦ 7) Precision Design USB 2.0 High Speed SecureDigital (SD/SDHC) Card Reader ♦ 8) Precision Design Memory Card Storage Wallet ♦ 9) Precision Design Deluxe 6 Piece Lens & Digital SLR Cleaning Kit ♦ 10) Digital Camera LCD Monitor Screen Protectors Now I just need to order the kindle book on this camera and I'll be good to go, lol :D |

Amazon, that's where I purchased the bundle kit :) They have the more advanced DSLR's if you are ready for that next step as well, I think the Nikon D7000 looked great, but the price-tag turned me off. |
The 3100 is an awesome camera for the price. I'm still learning how to use it, but I love it. Click through to my blog and my Flickr! and you can see some of the pics I've taken lately. I hope you like yours too! |

Wow, you're already getting some great pics. The second one of the kitty's face is really nice! :) |
Awesome Pics.... and to think that you just started taking pics!!!!! |
Yep, just started and the animals are already tired of it, lol. Next round Rizzo will have his hair in order, I had just got home and was too exicted to put a tk in. Lucky for me, my cat sits still long enough to take a pic of, and Rizzo can still insert a yorkie blur, lol. |
