How did you keep the size?...when I resize them to 200.0 kb..it makes them so small you need a magnifying glass to see them.

Weird. I've never seen that before. I saved one of your photos, and my software shows it at 200 kb and tiny too. The resolution was high 480, but even when I dropped it down to 72 ppi it was too small to view.

Anybody else have any suggestions? I usually just size them 4" x 6" at 72 pixels per inch, and they upload fine.

My camera is a sony and I can resize pictures on camera set up or I put them through a programme and resize by cut and paste to fit.

These are some leaf pictures I took last fall. I love the idea of photo themes. I have a nice camera with cheap lenses ( I want to upgrade) and I do ok experimenting with the automatic settings, but I would love to learn more about the manual aspects of my camera.

I'm sorry, I didnt' see your message until now.
I use Paint to resize the photos. It is very easy to do, I don't go by kilobyts, my originals are extra fine JPEG and really huge, so I resize using percentages. Most of them for this forum I resize to 22% and it works fine. If you give me an idea of your original photosize, I can tell you what would work for you :)

Any ideas for other photo themes? Is every 2 weeks an okay time period to get your pictures taken and posted?

Maybe since its getting close to Halloween we could do pictures of our pups doing "Tricks for Treats" ;)

Gonna be tough to beat the fall theme. Those pictures were amazing. I like a tricks one, but tricks can be tricky to photograph. :p

Well, we could do a letter or color theme, such as things that begin with the letter "S" for example ... or the color "orange" ... or something like that.

I have some that range from 1.05 kb to 1.84 kb...I think thats my problem I don't use paint I will try that and see if it works...Thank you for the help:)

Clouds
 
Would make a good subject, we have some awesome formations sometimes and they can be quite tricky to get good shots. (just a thought next time maybe)

Alright, I think Clouds is a great idea for the next theme.

Tomorrow starts the next 2 weeks. So, lets see everyone's pictures of clouds :)

Driving home last night saw a gorgeous sunset, the cloud were pink underneath and pure white on top, by the time I got home it was all over, missed a good shot, weekend coming so hoping to get some shots then.:D

Been waiting on some clouds. Ever since you announced the subject was clouds, there hasn't been a single cloud in the sky. LOL. Hopefully soon.
