First pics with my new XSi. 3 Attachment(s) Okay these are really Bad! Please excuse my little ragamuffin, he was out playing with his buddies all day and needs to be brushed badly, he is very tired and was NOT in the mood for mommy to take his pic..as you can see by his expression:rolleyes: ( He was weighed at the vet today, my little angel is 3 and a half lbs!, bless his heart, I thought he was more ) I have a lot to learn with the camera, holy cow!! I can't wait to learn how to do shots with the blurred background, love those!! |
Those are great! Your going to LOVE your camera! I have a Nikon D5000 and LOVE it :) |
Oh they look good. :) You CAN tell he wasn't too excited though. LOL I just got the XS and I am still learning too. There is just so much you can do! |

Yes, I think the XS is very similar to the XSi, there is tons of stuff to learn eh!? I'm going to look for the dummy book that was suggested:p |
He is the perfect model. :) |

Thank you Robin!, His eyes look a little sad and annoyed in the pics, like he is asking "why are you doing this to me!?" Makes me feel guilty for bothering him...next pics he will be wide awake!:p |
Bailey is beautiful!!! Messy or not, clean or not, awake or not... does not matter!! Great shots, you can really see his beautiful coloring, and oh my what sweet loving eyes :):) Are you loving the cam yet?? :D |

The dim lighting is nice, really enhances his color :) If you look in the index of your manual for: settings, restore, defaults or factory settings, it should lead you to the right page. :) I know, manuals suck, lol. But when I got my first DigitalSLR, i was at an event ready to take some nice pics and all of a sudden it wouldn't work  Talk about BAD feeling. I had no idea what the error was that was flashing in the screen and thankfully i had brought the manual with me :D It took a while to locate what the error was in the book, but it turned out, my lens was just a bit loose (must have happened when I put it in the bag) but I would never have known it if I didn't have the manual, I would have thought I bought a bad camera. I couldn't even tell the lens was loose, it was just one small click away from being locked in  |
Yes, The manuals are a must have!!! |
Baily is a very handsome model and your pictures look great:thumbup: Looking foward to more pic's! |
oh SO cute!!!! to do the blurred backgrounds- change from Auto to Av- use the rotating circle thingy and move the f-stop down as low as it will go (somewhere around 4.5?) and that will give you the blurred background. Unless you are in full daylight you will need the flash up or the shutter will stay open for a long time and will make your picture blurry. HOpe that helped. |

Those are GREAT :D! Don't you love how his face is more in focus than his body? And the more you get comfy w/ the camera, the more you'll be able to play w/ that, it's really fun :). |
