Online camera classes? Has anyone taken any of the online camera classes and were you happy with them? Just thinking about possibly taking one of the classes.... |
i would like to know this also. |
I haven't taken online classes, so no help there. Do you have any community education classes in your area? A lot of local communities have photog courses and they are cheap and hands on. Some are associated with local school districts, some are general community. Also, don't know if you have National Camera Exchange in your area, but they offer classes (two free ones if you buy a camera there) at different levels. You can check out the info online at their web addy. http://www.nationalcamera.com/photo-classes.html |
I'm fairly new to photography too and have learned a lot from this site. Digital Photography Tips: Digital Photography School |
I have been wanting to take a class too. Online would be great! Thanks for starting this thread! I am saving to buy the Cannon Ti1 :) |

I'm undecided between the D5000 and the D90. Leaning towards the D90 at the moment. |

Thanks for that link. Very helpful. Leaning even more towards the D90 now. I was basing my choice on this. Nikon D5000 Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review |

I'd like the d90 too but I just can't afford the price. That's why I'm toying with the d5000 or a canon.... |
For online classes you might look at JessicaSprague.com. Grow Your Skills. She sometimes offers photography classes and she is so easy to understand. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I have enjoyed her site. |
I haven't taken any of the courses, but I have heard they are excellent. If they are like any of Bryan Petersen's books, I would think they are fabulous. His most popular book is Understanding Exposure, and he also teaches that class in his online school. Check out his site at Amazon for his other books. Pet Photography I'm not sure if this is more advanced than most people are looking for, but this class on Pet Photography sounds great! I would think if you read through Bryan Petersen's book Understanding Exposure, it should be no problem. Pet Photography Amazon.com: Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot... |
I have the Nikon D40x, but would love to have the Nikon 300. Aaah..someday. lol :) |
