Just wanted to let those know who are new to DSLR- i just had a lesson today on my camera- best 30 dollars i have EVER spent. I am going to do my best to master my camera and then i am going to take more specialized lessons (night time, landscape, portrait). If you can find somehwere that offers lessons- it is the best thing you can do. i had no idea my camera does as much as it does!

Found this It's a new word to me too I just say Blurr lol

Bokeh (from the Japanese boke, "blur") is a photographic term referring to the appearance of out-of-focus areas in an image produced by a camera lens. Different lens bokeh produces different aesthetic qualities in out-of-focus backgrounds, which are often used to reduce distractions and emphasize the primary subject. The effect itself is the circle of confusion, an image of the aperture convolved by the image itself. (Source: Wikipedia)
