What Do You Use Your Bundt Pan For? Michelle and I were discussing my bundt pans yesterday (:bigeyes: that kinda sounds funny :bigeyes:) She said she has no use for them, as she rarely bakes (nor do I) ~ so I gave her an alternate use. Use to stand your corn cob on (the flute) while cutting the corn off from the cob. The cob stays steady and the kernels fall into the pan ~ Voila! I also use it to bake meatloaf - more crispy edges and cracks and crevices :thumbup: My final use is Monkey Bread :dribble: :drool: What do you use your bundt pan for?? Do you have any other double duty kitchen tools that we should know about? |
OK...now I need a bundt pan:rolleyes: for corn and meatloaf:p |

I use my bundt pan for catching dust. I've had it for over 15 years and the few times I've used it the cakes stuck big time. I grease and flour it, but ??? It's a Pampered Chef and it wasn't cheap. Just another bad kitchen investment.:thumbdown |

LOL I know what you mean. I don't use my bundt pan at all - I just took a real old fashioned buttermilk pound cake out of the oven. Recipe called for bundt pan but I used two loaf pans instead. |
I mostly use mine to help clog up the pan cabinet and get myself aggravated... Goodness knows I wouldn't want to waste time reorganizing. :rolleyes: Occasionally though I do cook angel food cake from a box mix in it. It's delicious! (If you do that though fill it only half full or will spill out in the oven. 100 times better than bought angel food cake, but still super easy!) |
Your thread title totally attracted me. ;) I confess that I have never used a bundt pan for anything except making bundt cakes. I further confess that I was addicted to trying out new bundt cake recipes one summer. I bet I made 40 different kinds of bundt cakes. (And everyone gained weight. hehe) Then there was the summer I was addicted to making different kinds of cheesecake... |
