Easy Crock pot lasagna I found this recipie on facebook and will give it a try tomorrow.. hugs,:D Crock Pot Lasagna ~ I used a 6 quart oval crock pot for this recipe. ~ Ingredients ~ 12 oz box whole wheat lasagana noodles 1 lb hamburger browned and drained 2 Jars Ragu Sauce (26 oz each) 16 oz can diced tomatoes 16 oz Ricotta Cheese (you could use cottage cheese, too) 2 bags shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz each) 2 tsp. garlic powder 20 oz frozen spinach – (optional) Combine browned hamburger, diced tomatoes and sauce in pan until heated through. Mix in small bowl, ricotta cheese and 1/2 a bag or mozzarella cheese( approx. 1 cup). Reserve the remainder of cheese in this bag for final layer in crockpot. Heat spinach in microwave until hot. 1. Layer of sauce mixture in bottom of crock pot. 2. Double layer of noodles, you will have to break in pieces for them to fit 3. Layer of cheese mixture and spinach if desired. 4. Sprinkle liberally with shredded mozzarella Repeat layers until you run out of noodles. My final layer is always sauce mixture and any remaining mozzarella cheese. Cook on low for 4 – 5 hours. Enjoy! |
I love lasagna. As long as the crockpot could crisp up the outer noodles it would probably be good. Let us know how it tastes :thumbup: |
