| The oyster bar at Palace Station was the one I mentioned earlier in the thread! We got there at 1am, and stood in line till almost 2am. There was only a few parties in front of us, but there was a party of 10 that was keeping the line long. And they all wanted to sit together :rolleyes: You know how the set up is there, it's a BAR. Why would you sit all together, you can't converse with everyone at a bar like that. They kept changing seats to sit together and confusing the chef, making things even harder for him. Then there was the overweight couple in front of us chain smoking and PDAing non stop. Gag. They kept holding onto each other, face to face, and their bellys were touching LOL. I was trying so hard not to laugh. At one point the lady took a pic of the guy, but told him, head up, turn slightly that way, pull down your shirt, etc etc. Yeah, that's gonna make him look better. The couple behind me started mimicing them and that's when I lost it. I burst out into laughter.
Never wanted to eat at Tao. I can get good asian here. But I did want to try the stone crab place. Maybe next time. |
