2 Attachment(s) The skin on young ginger is much thinner. And the ginger flavor I would say is not as strong but still strong enough. Plus if you ever grated ginger you would know the difference. Older ginger is more dry also and harder to grate. Here are the comparisons on looks. Young vs. old. ;) lol |

I totally forgot to update this before. When I went to Miami to visit Shinja and Priscilla and meet Dinolover, Shinja had arranges Shri Lankan cooking lessons for us :love: Anyway, Sharone had many new types of rice to introduce us to! One being BLACK RICE (no, not wild rice, it was just black rice). She also had red rice and Florida rice ~ who knew???!!! |
