I love this thread - and love seeing pictures (from all over) of people's favourite restaurants....so here goes! We go to Cornwall a lot and usually stay in St.Ives/Padstow. Our favourite restaurant is The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow owned by one of our most famous chefs Rick Stein. www.rickstein.com is worth having a look at (even the video at the beginning is lovely) - and as for the online shop....:D  x |

Do you know - to me, I don't really care for 'posh' interiors (though they're lovely sometimes). It's the view, and the 'feel', and certainly the staff that make a place. The mood that you're feeling when you leave the place - when you can't wait to go back? :) |

So, Padstow's my favourite....2nd best is in St. Ives - www.porthminstercafe.co.uk - it's beautiful there, with more of a relaxed atmosphere than Rick Steins. Hope you like it! :D |

Here is a pretty shi shi poo poo place here. The food is excellent (and expensive ) But I am dying to partake in one of the chef's cooking classes  Sarasota Restaurant & Anna Maria Dine Longboat Key | Euphemia Haye |

Bruce and I rarely eat out, but one of my favourite places is The Yellow Dog Cafe - although it has been several years since Bruce has taken me there. (He has a bigger appetite than me and he doesn't think they put enough food on the plate for him - it is a "fine dining" place) Prices run around $25-$35 each, but worth it. Another place I like is "The Shack" - great seafood place on the river. You can get anything from a Delixe hamburger for $6.95 to a Surf and Turf (Lobster Tail and Prime Rib) for around $34. (They have a great Liver and Onions for $9.95) If we ever get to Tallahassee again I love the Silver Slipper. But mostly I love to eat whatever Bruce cooks:) |
