I love Indian food. Hands down, best overall food category. Second place would probably be Thai food. Specific foods I love include: crab (real, fresh crab, not that imitation nonsense), hummus (with celery, cucumbers, and pita bread), samosas, and gourmet mac and cheese. And I realize that cayenne pepper is not a "food," but I seriously would add it to almost anything. |

My fave is Japanese, easy. Not only are the foods always healthy (except the tempura LOL) the presentation is just so beautiful. The only downer is it's so expensive! Even a humble bowl of ramen, is really much more complicated than you'd expect, esp if you're used to the instant kind! But I really love lots of kinds of foods, and I like most every kind of cuisine. Still haven't had a chance to try Ethiopian though! Let's see...my favorites Japanese: uni sushi of course Chinese: wonton mein, honey walnut shrimp (tie) Korean: any kind of bbq beef Thai: green papaya salad Vietnamese: bahn mi dac biet (that means special combo baguette) Indian: braised lamb shank or that curry veggie dish with califlower, peas, carrots, etc Mexican: lengua and cabeza tacos, huitlacoche (tie) Colombian: bff's mom's beef and potato empanadas Salvidorian: pupusas, fried plantains with creme (tie) Italian: real style thin crusty pizza seafood: if not uni, then crab, shrimp, or lobster soul food: Roscoes chicken and Waffles, and their egg cheese and onions Persian: lamb lule kabob with that rice with the cranberries in it comfort food: mac and cheese food truck: Lime guys are pretty dang good guilty pleasure: Del Taco deluxe nacho fries  salad: the sashimi salad from Kaori, my fave japanese restaurant snack: pickles, olives I'm sure I'm forgetting something. |

Ethiopian is FANTASTIC!! You would LOVE the injera bread!! So nice and sour  |
My all time favorite food would have to be prime rib! Hubby and I could eat it every day if we could afford it. A close second is spaghetti or chicken alfredo. |

I think my all time favourite is seafood - all seafood - cooked or not cooked any which way :) We spend a lot of time in Cornwall - generally Padstow - and have done since my childhood. There's a wonderful seafood retaurant there owned by chef Rick Stein. He has a deli, shops, hotels etc. too. In fact he now has his fingers in so many pies there, they now call it Padstein  Sally x |
