This thread is completely amazing. I too wish to know the beer trick. The lemon peels and avocado peels I MUST try asap! lol unfortunately I don't have any off-label uses for food. :( |
I haven't had a chance to read the whole thread, so if I double post sorry! Mustard is supposed to work on bug bites/stings. You can use lemon juice to reallly shine any stainless steel. Raw pasta makes a great necklace.;) |
the only one that came to mind was in case of a skunking of dog or human you can use fresh tomato juice or whole tomatoes to bathe the body in to get the smell out. works fine just takes lots and lots. |
maybe you spritz the beer into the hair when it's styled?? also tell me more about the coffee grounds for cellulite. i have a lot of that to get rid of even before baby. |
real cocoa butter for preventing stretch marks. i've heard it works and i've heard that nothing works. worth a shot right? |
coco butter worked for me 4 babies no stretch marks |

5 pregnancies, 6 babies and I have no stretch marks. I never lotioned or anything. And 2 of my pregnancies were after 35. |
I used cocoa butter, lotion, basically anything I could get my hands on and I have the worst stretchmarks. There just seemed to be nothing I could do. Love the kiddos though. |
I used everything on earth too and still have a few stretchmarks.....hate them. thank goodness for no more children! lol |

A few battle scars but your the winners everytime you look into them beautiful faces :) |
Did you know that if you are out of rubbing alcohol and are in a pinch, you can use VODKA :D I had to apply my new license Plate expiry tag and needed to clean my plate first. Totally worked  |
I think any liquor would work. I've seen them do it a bunch of times in movies. They pour rum or whiskey or whatever they have over their bullet wounds. :D |

Are you done having babies? :) |
You can use clove oil for a toothache...or even some whiskey.:tongue4:;) Straying off topic for a second... This is not use of a food, but I wanted to share anyways. You can use Preparation H under your eyes to take away the puffiness-really works, and they say models use it on their arms so they don't look like they're 'waving'. OK, sorry, back to topic.:) |

When you smoke clove ciggs. they make your mouth a little numb..so the clove oil thing makes sense. We also use hawaiian salt mixed with warm water to help ease a toothache. When our kids lose a tooth we also make them rinse their mouth with this mixture. Oh yeah egg shells and oyster shells for the garden also. |

If you get a splinter, rub some garlic on it -- the splinter will almost pull itself out. In the old days, carpenters used to always carry garlic in their pouches for this reason. |
